Here is the deck.
4 Breeding Pool
4 Steam Vents
4 Stomping Ground
4 Flooded Strand
4 Windswept Heath
4 Wooded Foothills
4 Sensei's Divining Top
4 Drift of Phantasms
4 Muddle the Mixture
4 Mana Leak
4 Counterspell
4 Seismic Assault
4 Life from the Loam
4 Compulsive Research
4 Trade Routes
I've tested the deck once and it went rather smoothly. It's not that complicated to run.
The basic way it works if you can't see it from the deck list is that you play out the "fetch" lands and burn them to get the Mana you need. Preferably the Vents and Grounds, or the Pools depending upon what Mana it is you need.
Then you either draw into Seismic Assault and Life From the Loam or you Tutor for them with the Drifts and Muddle. Countering everything that you see until you can get them both. From there it's simple. You use Life to bring lands to your hand to feed the Assault. Minimum of 6 damage a turn! With the Top, you can deal even more by using the amazing Dredge ability. Which only feeds more lands into your grave.
The main problem that I am finding it building a sideboard for it. I haven't played many 1.x matches, so I don't know what the Meta is like.
This is where I need your help. Oh, and I have no clue what to name it!
What do you think? |

| THis is just an inferior version of CAL. Which runs two of the main cards from here, and Solaritary Confinement. Its better than this deck. i reccomend you check it out. Oh, and expect a lot of Friggorid. |

Well, I've run it against 3 seperate decks and have won every match so far.
So it can't be that bad of a build. |

Cranial Extraction... Pithing Needle... Disenchant... mortify... COP: Red, Story Circle, ROP: Red... The list goes on.
I like the idea behind it, I just don't think it can hold up in a competitive arena. |

| That's why the deck is loaded down with Counter Spells, so things like that don't show up. Maybe Boomerangs, in case they do get into play? |

| That's one solution, but still not a solid lock. You have to find some way to deny the ability to use it. That's my main reason I hate decks with only one kill condition. |

| The deck isn't competitive. CAL is just better. Fact or Fiction>Compulsive Research. |

ya look at CAL, its a very good deck
SB black is kinda where its at... srry to say, altho u can easily splash one black source with the fetch lands
anything with graveyard removal for ichorid, and then hope ur counters work otherwise (compost owns ichorid too) |
