Yeah, having nut pools is tech when the trial actually takes place.

that's an ignorant comment. Sealed is a great format. No matter how great your pool is, you still need to build it correctly and play it correctly. No sealed deck is good enough to be invincible, or even close. I could tell you a lot of stories of sealed/draft decks that looked positively unbeatable on paper and yet failed in games to seemingly average or below average decks. I'll just go with one: The first sealed trial I played here was Kamigawa block. I got a pretty marginal pool, built a u/r deck with blue Honden as my best card, and ran through multiple Melokus en route to winning. Most memorable as a game in which my opponent followed Meloku with Tatsumasa.

I want to know how in the world he got Angel of Despair, Razia and Firemane Angel. Unless he opened all of them or he was drafting with tards...
