Well, lately, I've been into rav block decks. Because I'm getting back into magic irl, and I don't want to spend too much money on anything that can't be used for a while in t2. So my list is as follows:
Lands:
4 Stomping Ground
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Temple Garden
5 forest
5 mountain
Creatures:
4 Burning Tree Shaman
4 Scab-Clan Mauler
4 Loxodon Hierarch
2 Rumbling Slum
2 Giant Solifuge
2 Dryad Sophisticate
Spells:
4 Moldervine Cloak
4 Seal of fire
4 Utopia Sprawl
4 Lightning Helix
4 Faith's Fetters
SB:
4 Savage Twister
No idea about a sideboard yet, and should I be cutting more spells, and adding more creatures? |

| scab clan mauler seems like a stupid card in that deck as u don't have alot of options of hitting the other guy by turn 2 |

Cut Utopia Sprawl for BoP. Cut two Slums for two Solifuge or vice-versa. And I'd cut Fetters for Frenzied Goblin. Sophisticate's good and all, but do you want to draw it or not? Go four or none. I think he's pretty sideboard anyway... that would give you room for Scorched Rusalka or something that will beat on turn two for your Scab-Clans.
[EDIT] Forgot about SB. Here's one off the top of my head:
3 Cleansing Beam (Fixes the Glare problem that's re-forming)
4 Brightflame (Makes you want them to play that Storm Herd)
4 Savage Twister
4 Faith's Fetters (If you cut the maindecks like you should) |

Having two of some threats, espically 2 solifuge 2 slum can be really good. I think if he sides 2 extras of each its a good idea, thats what I do with my standard Gruul deck.
I think your idea of 4 or none isn't the best for all decks. Threat diversity is effective and although you do need 4 of a lot of cards often two is enough.
my 2 cents.
also I agree with whoever said the maulers are bad, you have no 1 drops those maulers should be watch wolfs. Also, play char over faiths fetters. You can put the fetters in the board. |

| Honestly I'd have like 2 md if any at all, in block, most decks will be creature based so it makes sense to include them |
