300 cards today. Only need about 30 more, and I can have my 2 editors dig into it. Once that's done, hopefully I can get some of you guys to play it.
White
Dissolve - 1W - Common
Instant
Replicate 1W (When you play this spell, copy it for each time you paid its replicate cost. You may choose new targets for the copies.)

Aymarian Stables - 2W - Uncommon
Enchantment
Creatures you control gain Flanking 1 (Whenever a creature without flanking blocks this creature, the blocking creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn.)

Enchanted knight gains +2/+1, first strike, protection from red and protection from black.
Whenever a red or black creature that was dealt damage by enchanted knight would be put into a graveyard, remove it from the game instead.

Islandwalk (This creature is unblockable as long as defending player controls a Island.)

Just to note:
I can still use more editors, especially a Judge.
I can still use a balance person, to make sure raritys and reletive power - CMC stay correct to these days cards.
I could really really use a creative consultant, for card renaming, flavour text and some story boarding.

This is the first edition, well, not even, as it still has a bit to go.
As for when it's coming out. ASAP. The last cards are the hardest as I need to make sure that its got everything a complete set would need, and rather than just come up with card ideas and make them, I need to come up with certain colors and raritys to balance it out. But only 30 cards to go, I'm hoping to be in the editing phase this week.
Ant I'm gonna PM you what I'll need and you can tell me if your up for it. |

wording errors:
Rune Blade - 1WW - Rare

It either needs to be: "If a red or black creature that was dealt damage by enchanted knight would be put into a graveyard, remove it from the game instead" OR "Whenever a black or red creature ... remove it from the game." You can't have 'Whenever' and 'instead'. Whenever represents a trigger, instead represents a replacement.
Sea Claimer would mostly likely say have the word 'player' in place of the second iteration of 'opponent'.

This card's wording is very hard to interpret. When it attacks, does it hit all of their creatures, or just the blocking ones? Does the opponent have to get creatures with cmc that add up to exactly 6?
I think the first ability should read: "Whenever Heart of Spruce attacks, it deals 2 damage to each creature the defending player controls."
There are some other minor errors but they're not very important. |

Well, I don't have any such sac engines in my set. The only thing that costs 0 is Nenariel, which is a phasing wall, and an unrealesed mox with penalties that wouldn't really be possible to abuse in this instance.
The card does not mesh well with T1, thats for sure, as it's a very simple rush to infinite mana. If I run Plains of Aymara, it will get run in either current t2, on its own, or with just 9th edition. I'm leaning on 9th edition. If I plan on running it in t1 or t1.5 or whatever, I'll take the restrict/ban suggestion.
Angellord, I accually wanted it as a permanent so that it could be used with Undying Essence. I think it's neat to be able to pay 4 and sort your hand twice.
Dr. Moo, I wouldn't be absolutly suprised if my set is riddled with errors. I do my best, using appr and searching for cards as a rough guide, but there are clearly people better at it than I. I now have 3 editors to scan it up and down when it's done. If you want to join that team, feel free. Oh, and to clarify: I want Heart of Spruce to only hit creatures that block. Also, I honestly thought I got the bottom part of him right, other than not putting "Search their library". I used protean hulk as a guide. |
