i am playing husk on saturday regionals.

i am not predicting my country metagame i just make some techs in the deck that help me.

This is my list before some testing:

3 Orzhov Basilica
4 Godless Shrine
4 Caves of Koilos
4 Plains
5 Swamp
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
1 Eiganjo Castle
4 Promise of Bunrei
3 Mortify
3 Castigate
4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 Nantuko Husk
4 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Dark Confidant
2 Savannah Lions
3 Orzhov Pontiff
4 Plagued Rusalka
3 Ghost Council of Orzhova

SB: 2 Eight-and-a-Half-Tails
SB: 3 Pithing Needle
SB: 1 Castigate
SB: 3 Umezawa's Jitte
SB: 3 Last Gasp
SB: 3 Okiba-Gang Shinobi

i make this changes:

-1 Kami of Ancient Law
-2 Savannah Lions

+3 Paladdin en Vec
He's good against RG, any BW, any UR. This is %80 of the field.

SB:
- 3 Last Gasp

- 2 Eight-and-a-Half-Tails

+2 Mindslicer(against any control he great period)

+3 Shinning Shoal(i dont know why i wherent using these lol)

So this is the final list:

3 Orzhov Basilica
4 Godless Shrine
4 Caves of Koilos
4 Plains
5 Swamp
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
1 Eiganjo Castle
4 Promise of Bunrei
3 Mortify
3 Castigate
4 Isamaru, Hound of Konda
4 Nantuko Husk
3 Kami of Ancient Law
4 Dark Confidant
+3 Paladdin en Vec
3 Orzhov Pontiff
4 Plagued Rusalka
3 Ghost Council of Orzhova

SB: 3 Shinninh SHoal
SB: 3 Pithing Needle
SB: 1 Castigate
SB: 3 Umezawa's Jitte
SB: 2 Mindslicer
SB: 3 Okiba-Gang Shinobi

*one final note on Jitte or not Jitte: As you can see i use 3 Pithing Needle and 3 Umezawa's Jitte, veryone use it primary for jitte, i dont i use it a lot of others cards like, glare(random), Meloku, , vitu ghazi, Lgendary lands with effects, transmute etc and if my jitte havent come to the board yet. Jitte WINS GAMES, and a card that alone can win games deserve a sopt at least in the sideboard.

BW husk is a good deck. Its very good in my opinion. Jitte is not needed though for it. While yes jitte wins games but more likely than not with this deck you would hve won anyway. Needle does not win games out right. But it allows your deck to win it for you. IMHO jitte is not needed for this deck.

that's right. I dont think jitte is that important in a deck with this much synergy . adding jitte will take away from the deck's curve and youre not really trying to win with just creatures swinging. This deck wins with sacrificial pump-ups which is enough most of the time. I think this list is almost perfect i would only change a few sb cards
sb

-3 jitte
-1 okiba-gang shinobi

+3 BLACKMAIL!!!
+1 mortify

you want to beat control and combo decks consistently and that is probably your biggest threat. Why not add a cheap, efficient discard spell that fits well with your curve at one mana. U can play this first turn or second turn prior to a basilica. Some will argue that only choosing from 3 cards is a bit weak in the early game but a control type player will almost NEVER have 3 cards in their hand that they dont need. ALso u can work around this restriction by waiting till theyre hand is depleted and focus your first couple of turns on playing threats. U will hit something and not mess up your tempo. A great complement to the other hand killers that will no doubt arise.

Nice idea to include paladins. I haven't tried this tech but it seems quite sound. This is definitely the deck to beat in this format.
