As a rogue deck player, I try and play whats not popular and attempt to popularize it. It's a tough job. Involves alot of losing. Anyways, this t2 deck is the one I have settled on that A> Isn't remotely netdecked and B> Wins.
UB Aggro (Card Adv)
Creatures
2 Hypnotic Spectre
4 Ravenous Rats
4 Dark Confidant
3 Dimir Cutpurse
3 Ninja of the Deep Hours
Removal
4 Last Gasp
2 Cruel Edict
4 Rise//Fall
Other
3 Cry of Contrition
4 Remand
3 Mana Leak
3 Umezawa's Jitte
Land
11 Swamp
9 Island
1 Oboro
SB
1 Hypnotic Spectre
1 Umezawa's Jitte
3 Sickening Shoal
4 Dimir Infiltraitor
3 Repeal
1 Cry on Contrition
I'm now in the positive ratings (yeah, I know, big whoop to some of you) using only this deck. Partially thats because I'm becoming a better player with practice. But as always, theres room for improvement.
I have found that in alot of match ups, Dimir Infil gets SBed in. His ability to bypass paladins, transmute or tank a kird ape makes him a very valuable player. So I'm wondering if I should MD him, and then SB cards in vs the slower decks.
I guess the point is to use creatures that will gain you cards, or have them lose thiers, for as much Card Adv as you can get. Things like casting Bob then Cry on Contrition on him means your gonna get card adv one way or another.
The SB is mainly for my worst matchup, which is aggro such as Gruul, WW, Zoo and now Ghost Husk. Sickenings need to go in vs Gruul or zoo, especially if your going seccond. Repeals as well. A rav rat chump block followed by Rise is great tempo. Or if they ignore the rat, go for the ninja. Theres alot of ways to play with the mechanics in this deck, it's not as grab and go as Gruul would be...
Well I'm kinda rambling, so I'll just say it seems to consistantly wipe out anything slow or adverage speed and with some of the new editions, it can grab itself a 50/50 vs aggro.
Whats your opinions?[/b] |

i don't know if you have enough tricks to run cutpurse. you might be better off with -3 cutpurse, +2 hypnotic specter, -3 ninja of the deep hours, +3 moroii. you can't really race anything with the power level of your creatures, and a 4/4 flyer on turn 4 goes a long way. you might also want to sb okiba-gang shinobi.
you might also want to look at genju of the falls. i don't think you need them, you should handle control very well. |

ShadowS, you don't have any 1 drops, meaning ninja is a 3rd/4th turn play, assuming they don't have a blocker. I'm not saying it won't win games but Sea Stompy or hand in hand are better for this aggro-control archetype. (and i agree with Karic's suggestions)
clkaufma's deck looks promising, but is basically a counter/jitte deck, while its a good combo, it will probably get stuck between aggro and control, and being good against neither (jitte is hardly a secret tech )
My deck has 8 1-drops, which all accelerate into 2nd turn hyppie, 3rd turn jitte. cloak, plaxmanta, and putrefy are all totally solid cards and feel free to test and modify the deck. |

I used to run moroii when I thought the deck was lacking in that final umph to beat my opponents. I think it just turns out I was too eager with the creatures. Also to the Ghost-Lit Stalker, I ran Nezumi for quite a long time. I relized.. he was just helping me win what I was already winning.
Yeah, Ninja is a 3rd or 4th turn drop. I know that is kind of a shame. If I had option, I would run plagued rasulka as a 1 drop because no one wants to block it and lose a 2 def critter. Honestly though my favorite 2nd turn play is rav rat, followed by the chump block if I have a Rise. If not, I use remand for tempo before leading into my creatures. Remand.. Dimir, then attempt his entry. If he dies, I'm still only looking at thier one drop and I'm at 4 land, which is where you can drop something and attempt to gaurd it, or what not. It'd be nice to have a 1 drop, but honestly these creatures that I have listed, are the ones that have proved thier worth. I really think though, that infil has proved his worth a few more times than cutpurse, however. |

Synch, that deck does look intresting, but I fear its lacking in direction. It almost looks better has a Silhana deck w/ ninja. And if your playing Green, why Moroii?
clkaufma, boomerang and hand of cruelty =/ Scary mana reqs there. I rarely go up againts bounce lands againts pro players because of the common use of UR decks. Boomerang can be a very dead card. More intresting than it, and easier to cast, is time ebb. It's a 1 for 1 match that really bothers people and can get a critter through. I couldn't find room for it though =/ |

i've taken out moroii and added 2 dryad sophisticates, they were hurting me too much with confidant flipping them occasionally on top of taking 1 a turn.
i dont want to make it a ledgewalker deck, but i do think having them in the board against decks which cant handle them (with a pump on them) works. |

| ShadowS - With all the 2 power creatures that cause disruption (hyppie, cutpurse), you may want to give Writ of Passage a try. You can either enchant one of these guys making him permanently unblockable, or use Forecast and do it for the turn. While most creature enchantments bring the "two for one" fear, using Writ once in this case makes you break even. |
