hmm. I like the idea.. but.

4 simic sky swallower ? - is too many, but in my oppinion 1 is too many, it's hard to get rid of, but this is constructed.. and it cannot race a decent aggro deck.

furthermore - _I_ think you're playing too many creatures..

4 elves. will be dead cards after you've played successful elders, oracles, and wood elves. (I cannot play mass without elders)

100% I love the oracles, and the Elders.

2x4 of's

you're playing a creature deck, and perhaps that's not my thing, in YOUR deck, Plexmantas are decent, but since I'm cutting the skyswallowers, and elves. they are no good in mine.

I'm leaving out some wood elves aswell.

4 Jitte seems a bit much, again.. yours is waaay more creature based.

4 leaks, IMO.
4 Voidslime.
HINDER! - I love hinders.

also, I kinda liked the black splash for putrefy.

so...

4 Sakura-tribe Elder
3 Wood Elves
4 Coiling Oracle

4 Voidslime / Hinder (slime is prolly the better choice)
4 Mana Leak
3 Putrefy

3 Umezawa's Jitte
3 Sensei's Divining Top
2 Crime // Punishment (Destroy each artifact, creature and enchantment with converted mana cost X.)

2 Keiga, The Tide Star
3 Meloku The Clouded Mirror
1 Grave-shell Scarab

36 cards so far..

add one card. the last putrefy, jitte, or 1 sky swallower if you'd like Smile

I know... you asked for suggestions, and I changed the entire thing..

sorry..

but I think that if I was to play Mass.. thats how I'd go.

if i were you, i would drop 1 SSS and 1 meloku to start, drop a jitte, add a mana leak, drop llanowar elves and a couple of wood elves and have a full set of kudzus, run iwamori in the side also, i think you should go for lower cost counter spells with 4 leaks and 4 remands you get counter cover very quickly, and i dont think your deck could handle kird ape or isamaru early on.

repeals are worth a look, and STE is better than coiling oracle; its easier to cast, and can sac before damage to stop jitte counters or trample or whatever, plaxmantas are certainly very good for a surprise blocker or nullifying removal

When STE blocks, you assign damage, this activates trample which says ok 1 damage goes to STE and the other X damage goes to the player. Before this damage resolves however, you sac STE. Damage resolves and that 1 fizzes. But since your still a target, the X damage hits you.

Trample > all

Critical Mass is called Critical Mass because it plays Vinelasher Kudzu and Meloku the Clouded Mirror to make a HUGE plant with Illusions flying around it for suppport. However, Kudzu isn't on your list.

The World's deck played Vinelasher Kudzu. The deck isn't Critical Mass without it, it's just a GU build.
