Chat room help?

Why when I try to connect to the chatroom does my computer tell me that the security certificate was issued from "a company that is not trusted" and that the Java program will run "without the normal security features that would be present" or something like that?

Just go ahead and allow it. Java "doesn't trust" anyone who doesn't pay them a fee, at least I think that's how it works. Reguardless, I didn't trust it at first, but I talked to a few people and found out that it was safe, so go ahead and allow it; I know of nobody who has had any problems resulting from it.
