Well is there a new MWS version coming out? Did they give up on it like they did with apprentice 2?
Anyone who has information on the subject please share |

To the best of my knowledge, no one at Magic-League has more personal knowledge of MWS than myself.
MWS 0.95 is in development but it is going slowly. The new features requested by users require a rewrite of the program from the ground up, both MWSLibrary and MWSPlay. There was doubt about whether or not the MWSLibrary developer was going to continue work on the new version but he stated that he is continuing, albeit slowly.
So work continues but no one expects anything soon. |

As far as apprentice is concerned, as of today I am in possesion of the apprentice 2.0 source code and the "new team" will be releasing the source as a sourceforge project for anyone to contribute to.
ps. The source is one big mess |

Multiplayer is one of the features that most necessitates a rebuilding from the ground up.
It is not certain if multiplayer will be ready when 0.95 is released, but the groundwork will have been laid for its implementation. |

Jorbes IS THE MAN! What are you going to do with it? When will it be ready? I want to know about Apprentice 2. Now i'm going crazy, guess I'll sit in the corner and eat some hair. |

Apprentice 2.0 has been delayed for so long. Even when a beta was released (last year?) it sucked so hard. Don't get your hopes up.
MWS .95 has been in development for a loooong time. The developers made quite a few promises on when it would be released, but the dates kept getting pushed back. Now i don't think they make any promises anymore. There is also the fact that there was a lot of tension between the developers and a possible split with the development team. |

If you read my post correctly, you would have noticed i mentioned placing the source on a sourceforge project. That means you can just dl the source code yourself and compile/build your own apprentice....You have the power
ps. Yes this very well means you can create a version that shows you your opp's hand/library at all times without him/her knowing it, but I'm sure the 1337 coders @ ML will make anti-ml 3.0 for that. |

Well, when there is no way of verifying a version of app 2 or further you can be certain that it won't be used. On the other hand, I know there are ways of verifying versions, and using certified releases, and checking on connect etc, but that all is imho a bit iffy.
It is harder to check for ingame hacks than for external mods, so we will have to see what happens first.
