|
|
I've been trying to get decks in the 'Magic Decks' section of the site for play-testing purposes by following the instructions (right clicking the link and choosing Save Target As...). Ive tried saving the file as both .dec and as .txt(the default file type for saving) and neither has worked. When i go to Load Deck in Apprentice, it opens the decklist with all the cards listen horizontally, instead of vertically. Then, when i click OK, it errors and says "List Index Out Of Bounds (-1)"
Does anyone have any suggestions for what i might be doing wrong or a way to fix this? Thanks. |

yea when you save them, save as text but name it with the .dec extension. sometimes that doesnt work though, and what you can do is manually edit the file in notepad, and make a new line right after each cardname. youll see, it comes out aligned correctley. then resave and reopen it |

| I found it much easier to instead open the page, then go to File//Save As and save it as a .txt file. It always works. |

| whats happening is the server is sending the text in unix format. unix format uses a character for line separation, unlike windows formatting. The best way to get around this is to just click the link save as text or copy/paste into notepad and save. |
