when someone play a life gaining spell or ability on u such as renewed faith and then false cure do u still gain life?
this kid said u just lose double life so 12, but wouldnt u gain 6 , then lose 12 ,, basically just making u lose 6?
he says u dont gain life at all |

| I dont have a card search on me but i believe the person still gains the life. but losses double. or something or other. if i could get on chat right now id tell ya |

| The player does gain then false cure triggers so if you gain 10 life from 20 you would go to 30 then lose 20. |

| Correct, the key word missing on False Cure is 'instead'. Had it stated Until end of turn, whenever a player gains life, that player loses 2 life for each 1 life he or she gained instead then its a replacment effect rather then just a triggered. |

Correct, the key word missing on False Cure is 'instead'. Had it stated [i]Until end of turn, whenever a player would gain life, that player loses 2 life for each 1 life instead then its a replacment effect rather then just a triggered.
^^^^^That's what you're trying to get at, the one you modified would be incorrect. |
