And now an interview with Senadai:
<WildCard> how old are you?
<Senadai> I'm 17, looking forward to college
<WildCard> Black Lotus, Cloud Sprite, Energy Field
<WildCard> why choose this deck?
<Senadai> I chose it because I thought that if I went first, there was pretty no way the opponent could get a win
<Senadai> Even going second, I thought I could win most of the games
<Senadai> Or draw, at the least
<Senadai> I didn't see many possibly losing matchups
<WildCard> so what are your predicted bannings of next round?
<Senadai> Well besides the obvious black lotus
<Senadai> I can see vendetta getting banned
<Senadai> Any cheap discard spells that were missed
<WildCard> alright anything you would like to add?
<Senadai> Hm, It's a cool competition, thanks for running it... And the judge test shoudl reset in shorter than three months ^^. Thanks for running it man
The rules are as follows
Your deck is composed of 3 cards, all of which start in your hand.
You have no library (technically, the library exists, but starts at 0 cards) and no sideboard (Wishes fetch nothing).
Random effects always go in your opponent's favour.
You can see your opponent's hand, so you can always make the best possible play.
You don't lose as a result of not being able to draw a card.
You will play each opponent twice, once going first, once going second.
For each win, you score 3.
For each draw, you score 1.
For each loss, you get nothing.
Other than the aforementioned, EVERYTHING IS HANDLED EXACTLY LIKE A REAL GAME OF MAGIC!
Matches Will Be Simulated By Me On The Weekend
Entries Are Open Monday Through Friday US Pacific Time, Saturday Morning I Will Have The List Of Decks And Simulate And Have Results Posted On Monday.
Remember, it is important for your deck to include a way to cast your cards! (Lands, artifact mana, pitch cards, etc.)
BANNED:
Unhinged
Unglued
Ante Cards
Any card that forces your opponent to discard more than 1 card a turn.
Any non-mass-produced card (1996 World Champion, etc.)
Banned Cards:
The Rack
Form of the Dragon
Balance
Strip Mine
Wasteland
Glacial Chasm
Blackmail
Coercion
Pulse of the Dross
Cabal Therapy
Mesmeric Fiend
Abandon Hope

After each round, the 3 cards in the winning deck plus any cards in more than 1/3 of the decks played will be banned for all future rounds.

| Damn I forgot all about this otherwise I would have won. Here let me break this for you guys, My deck- Mishra's Workshop/Trinisphere/Steel Golem. GG. Edit oh shit someone had that deck gj. Guess I would have come in 5th then. If they would have done 20 rounds it would have 66 points unless i did something wrong. |

Was it really that hard to make simple table in excel and make every deck play every? You know, one of the point of 3cb is that there is no random :/
Another thing, best deck only got 32 of 78 possible points??? Well, i havent recalculated result , but from first look it seems stronger.
For the last thing ill repeat myself, dont ban lotus, it greatly improves variaty of cards youre able to use and makes this all much more interesting.
Dont think i dont appreciate your job, thanks for reviving this old good game, just do it as it should be |

HMM. Why is it that the two IDENTICAL decks got different amounts?
Same with Eagle wolf and Micheal Jones using Black Lotus Platinum Angel Channel? |

man, the annoying thing is that I had a deck i was going to use for round two because it had no lotus in it, but someone else used it already - city, isochron, and helix was my round 2 choice.
Nice job, Pollo. |
