the land is contradictory no doubt its a good effect but for wwrr u need to have a fixer or accelerator to compensate for the colorless u are producing with the land
as well as 5 mana to give a creture doub;le strike doesnt sound to good in a deck where ud rather be playing stuff and its rare to hit 5 period
as for teh katydid
that card is retarted its imo = to wall of blossoms since missing the 2 drop is compensated by killing isamaru and all the other lil 1/1 2/2 guys ww will be pumping out |

I agree, tree is powerful, but I dont know about maindecking him, he seems dead vs mono blue and gifts from KBC and probobly not very good vs any ravinica control deck either. Whatever though, he will see some play.
On the legendary issue, the guild heads are all legends, so I dont think that they care too much about such matters.
There are legends in every block, and I expect rav to be no different. I think that it works better as a non-legend, but it makes little to no sense flavorwise. Ohh well, neither does equipment sometimes. |

| I absolutely love the Wall. He might not see play, but that would only be due to the time he was printed. In most other formats, he would have rocked. The card is just the absolute nuts against ground based assaults. The worst thing about Wall of Blossoms is that they always just sent their whole crew in, and while Wall was effective at stalling, their team would continue to grow. 2 power alleviates that problem, meaning that swinging in to him will lose the attacker a man. It might have potential in g/w slide in extended, and certainly in block/t2 depending on the cards in the next block. |

I absolutely love the new wall.
As a three drop, it curves nicely in all the extended green decks playing birds and llanowar elves. Wall of blossoms was good but at the 2 slot, it often fought with sakura-tribe elder with space issues. Plus this card will be able to hold back the hordes of weenies that suicide into it, namely anything in WW, piledrivers and can survive baloths. |
