I think it's funny how this thread created to bash the deck has turned into yet ANOTHER thread about Owl.dec... Way to go COOLBOY, good job.

i am too however having trouble with aggro I think Ill have more trouble when guildpact comes out and zoo will be prominent any ideas?

im currently testing with storage matrix, since all u care about is ur lands.. it can delay aggro, plus with exhaustion.. aggro would then choose to attack or to expand.. thats what aggro usually does.. attack and expand, but if he cant do both at the same turn, then u got urself a lot of time to set up for the kill. if he chooses to untap creatures, then u bounce it.. if he chooses to expand, then remand it..
wat u think???

lol i just posted how horrible this deck was in a nother forum titled owl impact i think. ummmm. here--

quote equals me

this deck is horrible. i've played against it so many times and trounced it. any one who matters is playing either seed spark, putrefy, naturalize or wear away, and you're guaranteeing them those cards with crescent moon and mine, last time i checked glare was an aggro deck with 2 of those 4 spells. hmmmmm maybe you crumble to that alot? or maybe greater good gifts? which will just lock you turn five anyway....

also what happens if cranial gets ya?

teamforsaken, beating a couple of people on m-l using the deck doesn't make it bad. You have no clue what you are talking about. When it gets multiple top 64 finishes etc at the pt, then you can reconsider.

you cant be serious....i dont play kids on M-L, i've tested the deck with teammates...its just not good. kids at my fnm play this deck and get trounced, sure you'll just say they're bad players, which im not going to lie, some are. but we've had a fair share of better players playing this deck, and it just doesnt win. im sick of posting all this stuff in two different forums so i'm just going to stop replying here. any further input by me will be in the u/r owl impact forum.

I liked this deck when the format was new because most ppl will make control decks just they know they have a good match up VS the aggro decks. But now that the PT was won by a RG Beats deck and ZOO took second I don't know that it will be any good anymore. 2 weeks ago any owl deck made top 8 at the FNM here and there was only one here. Last week there were 3 here and 2 went 0-2 drop and the last one barely missed top 8 due to facing the zoo deck. I think if you are gonna play this deck you have to know what you are gonna be facing.

Uhm... I can't remeber who I beat playing owl.dec today. Oh, now I remember. It was blueboy.

So far today I'm 9-0 with owl.dec (11-0 if u count byes) I have had a fair share of luck, but it's a decent deck. Almost auto win against control.

I haven't seen this deck anywhere. I can only assume the massive influx of good aggro taught most of the league Owl players a valuable lesson on playing a metagame deck in the wrong metagame.

I'll play my magnivore against any owl deck. I doubt I'll win EVERY match but should at least go 5-1 or so.
