First of all, is this card worth playing (either mainboard or sideboard). Also, what kind of deck could you run this in? Anything that uses black?

This might be worth something when Rakdos arrive and you can burn your opponent out. Until then, I have not met an aggro player that cares about trading 6-12 damage for 3.

I think I would have to agree with you there, but I think it really does deserve a sideboard slot or two. Sure weenie isn't a tier 1 deck right now, but you do come across it from time to time, and any deck that's running a decent amount of black could almost completely shut down an opponent who's playing weenie with it. I can't think of any other situations in which it would be really worth wasting a turn to play it. Any ideas?

i would rather SB in necroplasm/NosB/hideous laughter/any other black kill spell rather than miasmas simply because miasmas only makes your opponet think about attacking rather than keeping them from attacking

Actually, the only reason I would see Hissing Miasma even in a deck would be a mono-black or B/W sideboard answer to Saprolings and other hordes. That's about the only way I see it working at the moment, but the next set may hold something good for it.
