If you were running Time of Need, I'd say go 2 of each so you could just toolbox `em out as needed. Since you're not though, I'd say the Kokusho's because of the ways not only you can kill it if need be, but the ways in that he's always useful, whereas Yosei is an as needed or as broken status.

I think you have enough control to not need Yosei to win, but the only way I would play Yosei is if I had one Debtors Knell and Ghost Council so you can go infinite with the lock, but then your deck is a little janky.

Well, this is the way i see it, yosei is obviously better in control situations while kokusho is better against aggro opponants. with you deck list i think both would be good and i would also put in a debtors knell since you have ways to constantly sac the dragon spirits. also as a side note, maybe i missed something, but i dont think house guard fits the deck well enough to have 4. maybe scrap 2 and add 2 yosei. i know you are trading two 3 costs for two 6 costs but with birds and tribe elders you should be set mana wise.

i'd rather be tapped out for a turn, then have a 10 health margin open up (i'm an aggro player)

Question is, do you really need help vs aggro? In my GBW Control WoG is a 1-of tutor target and it destroys Zoo.

I love the Scarabs, also. I think it might be the single most underappreciated card in t2. They fall only to Hinder and turn most other attempts to stop them into card-disadvantage. 2 seems like a good number, because other creatures are better early and mid-game and you rarely want to see more than one.

Well, not just hinder. I played mine, he remanded, then played cranial extraction next turn. "nice" was all I could think to say, but I was also glad he had to waste the cranial on that instead of something else.
