I call it "Strovil's Legions" because, like the set Legions, it is all creatures. Creature frames, that is.

To my knowledge, this is the only MWS Theme that utilizes P/T boxes. The frames, rarity symbols, and mana symbols are the highest quality renders available (and the reason why Strovil's Legions is about 8x larger than other themes). And I have chosen to share the coveted Strovil MWSPlay swirly-blue-vortex background image.

Newest Version (updated through Time Spiral): Strovil's Legions 1.4

Use GoblinHero's masterbase for Time Spiral and to see the purple Time Spiral expansion symbol for TimeShifted cards in this theme.

-----------

Version 1.1 includes all new sounds. They have a soothing, otherworldly quality and I tried to pick background sounds that would not distract one from the game.

Below, Strovil's Legions Version 1.1

Even the spells have P/T boxes, but it does not detract from them.

I am working on adding shadows to the mana symbols. Expect that in version 1.2.

Tags fixed.

Glimpsetheunthinkable.net

Any comments on the theme? In particular, I want to know if the sounds I chose are good because I have a dozen or so more choices.

I would rather my spells have P/T boxes than my creatures have none.

Just download the file and put it into your Themes folder in the Magic Workstation directory.

Then, open MWSLibrary and go to Preferences -> Interface and switch the Graphic Theme from Default to Strovil's Legions.

You are using Full images.

The P/T frames only appear if you let MWS render the card (i.e. if you are using Cropped images).

its pretty good, but you need to make the text box sounds shorter, cuz (inspecially the shuffle one) it gets annoying when all the sounds like go together, really annoying, otherwise it is good

Text box sounds?

Well, so far this is the only negative feedback I have gotten on the sounds so I am not sure if I will change them.

In another day or so, I will have another update. Version 1.2 has mana shadows and tweaks to the card elements (text placement, etc).

The card frame is not pieced together by MWS.

Is there a particular service that works for you?

I do not have any webspace of my own to host the file. But I will try something.

Strovil's Legions

I uploaded it as a .zip file. Go to that webpage to download. Scroll down past the ads to find the counter (25 seconds) at the top of the list of 5 easy steps.

Also, this is version 1.15. I have made some minor card tweaks and added shadows to the five color and hybrid mana symbols (although I am debating whether I want to make them more pronounced). I still have a few more things to do but it is mostly finished.
