Sure but you lost the point, discarding 3 cards is hardly a sacrifice.

Actually, it is. If you want to flip her, then you will have to have 3+ cards in hand. Furthermore, you will lose half your hand, as most decks only have 4 or 5 cards in hand by the 4th turn. Adding on, it is extreme card disadvantage that can be responded to easily. If it resolves, your hand size is demolished, as well as viable possiblities.
