As far as I know, the use of IRC on magic-league has largely been phased out and replaced with cockatrice chat, in the magic-league room.

When connecting to the server, use the following information:
Host: cockatrice.woogerworks.com
Port: 4747
Username/password: Use whatever you used when you registered on woogerworks.

Backup server:
Host: cockatrice.woogerworks.info
Port: 443

If you can, make sure your Chatserver Nick on magic-league matches the one you use on cockatrice. That way you'll automatically get notifications when pairings and similar are posted.
