Best in a monocolor deck
Printable
Competitive
Fun
Simple

Enchantment - Rare

When a player casts a spell, an opponent chosen at random gains control of it. They may choose new targets for it.

At the beginning of each player's end step, if that player didn't cast a spell this turn, he or she loses 2 life.

Dr_Moo is probably tired of the most brokenly absurd card always winning, rather than one which could actually see print.

Legendary Enchantment

Mythic Rare

When Tree of Life enters the battlefield, add a counter to it and gain one life. Whenever you play a Forest or another green creature, add a counter to Tree of Life and gain one life.

Whenever a Forest or green creature is destroyed or exiled from the battlefield, remove one counter from Tree of Life and lose one life.

Remove X number of counters from Tree of Life: You may add X number of counters to any green creatures you control. Creatures with a counter from Tree of Life gain +1/+1 and indestructible as long as Tree of Life is under your control on the battlefield

Dr Moo, the challenge was to make something argualbly a bit OP, making merfolk tir 1deck in modern with just 1 new one-drop requires some serious power, though due to the narrowness of merfolk tribal they indeed could print some stupid shit. I even directly said to err on the side of being OP rather than too weak.

You can't play enchantment spells.
R: Until end of turn, Viashino Pyre-Idol becomes a 6/3 Elemental Enchantment Creature with haste that has "When this creature attacks, destroy target artifact defending player controls and Viashino Pyre-Idol deals 2 damage to you."
