For this CaC I want one of two NON CREATURE cards:


1: A card that gets better if a player looked at your hand this turn. '


-OR-


2: A card that gets better if a spell was countered this turn.'

If an opponent looked at your hand last turn, Nil Forcefield costs 5 less mana to cast.

Compensate 2UU
Instant - Trap - Rare
If a spell you control was countered this turn, you may pay 1U rather than play Compensate’s mana cost.
Return up to two target cards from your graveyard to your hand.


Edit: Had to fix the costs, otherwise it would have been broken. It's still a powerhouse for control decks being an instant. Same powerlevel as Snappy, imho. Perfect sideboard card for mirror control matches.

At the beginning of each precombat main phase, each player adds GU to his or her mana pool.

Creatures can't attack if a spell has been countered by a spell or an ability this turn.

Note that this condition requires something to be actively countered (as opposed to passively, say by removing a target).
