This CaC is going to be a little bit different. Please design a single card that, if printed, would form a 2- or 3-card combo with other cards that WotC has printed. I don't care what sort of combo it is -- it can win the game on the spot, or just put you in a very good position to win.

Let me know what card(s) you imagine your card comboing with. I'd be particularly impressed with cards that combo with things that are not already considered combo pieces, but if you don't do that please briefly explain why your card makes a better combo than the one that is already known. Other than that, a good entry will be printable and not overly-complicated.

Overpower -- 2W
Enchantment -- Aura (Common)
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +10/+10 and can't attack or block.
Grakk wished for the power to smash anything with his fists, but not for the strength to lift them.

Both a solid limited removal spell and a combo with Fling effects. Intentionally Pauper-legal.

Aspect of the Hydra 2GG

Enchanment - Aura

Enchant Creature

Whenever a +1/+1 counter is removed from enchanted creature put two +1/+1 counters on that creature.

"Lose one head, grow two more"

Uncommon.

Combos with the Spirits from Judgment, all Hydras and various other creatures that lose counters, it's lethal with Deathbringer Thoctar for example, and can get infinite with Experiment One with two counters or infinite life with Spike Feeder.

Instant (U)

Untap three target permanents. They gain haste until end of turn.




Note: I designed this with Isochron Scepter in mind, but added in a bit of flexibility so that it isn't a one trick pony and then nerfed it so that it wasn't too broken. Now you have to have at least one more card in order to go infinite with it on turn 3.

Tezzeret's Crucible UB

Artifact - Uncommon

When Tezzeret's Crucible enters the battlefield, untap two target artifacts and add 2 to your mana pool.

Tap: Each opponent loses 1 life.

Combo with Strionic Resonator.

This card could see play in legacy affinity even without the Strionic Resonator. Probably not in Modern.

Very simple. Inspirate by Candelabra of Tawnos and combo with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx as long as your devotion to green is 4 or more you get infinite mana on turn 4. Plus it survives to board sweepers and become the only threat:

It combos with a lot of draw spells and chains into other Brainshocks.
