My card: travel all over the year.

Quote:
Four Seasons of Travel G
Legendary Enchantment R
You can't play lands.
At the beginning of your draw step, if you control 3 or less lands, search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library.
4, Sacrifice Four Seasons of Travel: untap basic lands you control.
Travel broadens the mind.

Early game: no land death but lands comes tapped.
Late game: mana boost.

Simian Accelerator 1RR

You may cast red spells as if they had flash.

Red instant spells you control have split second.

Ordorius, the Wise 1GG

Legendary Creature - Elf Shaman

At the beginning of your upkeep, put an age counter on Ordorius, the Wise.

At the beginning of your precombat main phase, add G to your mana pool for age counter on Ordorius, the Wise.

When Ordorius, the Wise dies, draw a card for each age counter on him.

1/3

Flavor explanation: He is an old shaman, that gets wiser as he ages, providing mana for his master. When he dies, his collected knowledge is made available.

I know my submission is subtle in its reference to time but if you think about it a bit youre setting your opponent back a land drop (and possible a turn) while advancing your own mana availability (moving ahead a turn)

Gandalf the White - 2WW
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard (rare)
Split Second
When Gendalf the White enters the battlefield, choose one - untap all creatures you control; or tap all creatures target opponent controls.
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.

Great challenge idea, I love some of the submissions so far. Especially "Four Seasons of Travel", good card thelemys.

Bide Time 2RR

Instant-Uncommon

Play ~ only on your turn and only during combat, before blockers are declared.
Remove target attacking creature from the game and put a suspend counter on it. When it comes into play, it gains haste, unblockable, and "at end of turn, sacrifice this creature".

Gather round, time for the end step debriefing. Has anyone seen Phage?

Oops, fooled by time zones. Is that ironic? Nope, I'm just an idiot.
