because gruul was already waaaay overpowered, all they needed was another bomb...

now its just a mediocre rare

its not like they changed it, if its a 4/1 its always been a 4/1. however, some pixel analysis of the scans would suggest its a 4/3...

yes, I'm aware.

I'm just saying thank god, gruul was already too powerful.

I can't even view the whole picture, my screen isn't big enough, so I can't see the toughness.

You talking about splashing red to glare so you can use him? Its guild mana so you don't have to splash red. Not flaming, just confused on what you meant.

wait, since when does a 4/1 trample, haste, can't be target of spells or abilities suck?

I'm srry, but its still pretty good in Standard.

it sucks when it costs 4 mana, and falls to sakura-tribe elder, llanowar elves, or any friggin weenie...

It having "can't be target by spells or abilities" effect combined with a fairly high power already says it doesn't suck. I mean in a field like T2 which DOES have alot of spot removal, this isn't bad. AND it has trample? Wow, if a weenie does block it, then you will probably still get in some damage. Not bad considering the type of deck this card will go into.

Even the little bit of damage you push through won't be worth trading 4cc creature for a 1cc creature. As far as I can tell, this card is just tempo loss.
