Create an uncommon card with a converted mana cost of 5 or greater. It should have a power and complexity level appropriate for its rarity, but still be playable in some constructed format.

I judge based on:
1. Meeting the challenge criteria. Is the card appropriate for an uncommon in a core/expansion set?
2. Balance. Correct mana cost is particularly important.
3. Other. The card should make sense and be creative. You know what a well-designed card looks like.

You won't get extra points for a nice picture (you might for particularly good flavor text, but it's optional). You will lose points for a bad picture or flavor text.

Demonic Deal - 2BBB

Sorcery - Uncommon

Destroy target creature. Then search target players library for up to X cards, where X is the power of the destroyed creature. Exile those cards. Lose life equal to the number of cards exiled this way.

(Mythic) 1/3
Artifact Creature-Construct.

When Karn, The Wurmcoil Engineer enters the battlefield, put two 3/3 Wurm tokens into play.
(2), All Wurms gain deathtouch and lifelink.
(3), Return target artifact to its owners hand.

It's also a mythic when the challenge asked for an uncommon. Embarassed

Creatures get -X/-X, where X is the number of time counters on Persisent Death.
It was the death mages who brought the first reprieve from the undead horde.

(Vanishing is an existing mechanic for those who have forgotten.)

When Mana-Plated Armaments enters the battlefield, choose a basic land type.

Enchanted creature gains flying, lifelink, and gets +1/+1 for each basic land of the chosen type.
