i kno this shouldnt be here at all but i feel like i have to let all u guys kno why magic-league is bette than o gaming
1. we dont have oppoents that will take how fing lucky as an insult and then try to get u dqued for that AND SUCCEED
2.Our judges arent douches,theyre usually fair and dont take their job like the us secret service
3. we have lots of minis n e time on 2 different systems what snto to love
4. Our great admin staff!
This is why magic league is bettter than O gaming |

Magic-League is more active in general from the other league. At 3am (EST) that other league basically shuts down.
A couple of other reason I like this league better:
1. Better prizes support (although I haven't check back much since scg became their sponsor)
2. A lot easier here to tell judges from nonjudges
3. I'm an admin here
4. Less limited and more constructed here (although some might see this as a downside)
5. More active development of the website (article section, other developments in the works). That other league's website has a really outdated feel to it.
6. Better IRC server. Even though efnet is bigger, I like things like chanserv and nickserv so I don't have to use bots to protect my chan and nick
7. Much better website host. It takes a really big sealed trial to slow magic-league.com to the point of inusability.
Although the other league has a few strong points:
1. More swiss tourneys (not just the master)... someone really needs to find/make a php script for koen that does swiss tourneys.
2. Everything is MWS. I greatly prefer MWS to apprentice. |

M-l is great for ppl that don't want to spend money and u can find players with great skills, and u can earn money in masters to buy magic-related stuff but....
i think that some rules (like that stupid life rule) should be removed because it is so stupid when u are tied and if u have a deck that u take damage from your lands , for an example, it is mostly an autoloss.
And i don't know why apprentice is still used in tourneys. it is obvious that there is a way to pass the mlanthi test( i tested it with a friend of mine) and mws is so much better( well at least until ppl don't find a way to cheat in mws).
Many ppl say that mws shuffler sucks but app shuffler isn't better , thatś for sure!
But i must congrat koen and is staff for the creation of magic-league |
