Hello, m-l players!
I would like to get back some relentless booster challenge ^_^
So, the rules:

15 random cards are generated and are named "relentless booster". Every player should build a deck minimum of 60 cards, sideboard is 0 or 15 cards, like in a constructed event.
The only deckbuilding rule: Player may use ANY (!) number of copies of cards in his or her deck, but he/she may use ONLY basic lands and cards from relentless booster!!! (e.g. if relentless booster contained lightning bolt, deck could be 50 bolts, 10 mountains).

I want to announce such tourney beforehand so people have time to think over their decks )))
It will be held on Saturday 8:00 (UTC +4 is where i am)

So, the first relentless booster is:

Good luck with your deckbuilding ^_^ Hope some people will get involved )

why is the decklimit 60 and not 40?

And how do you beat the 25 lands 35 Sanctum Gargoyle Deck in that pool?

The Mirrormatch is stupid anyhow.
Because if you attack with your 2/3s you just suicide them without any gain.
But even as 2/3s Flyers without other abilites the would dominate the rest of the pool.

Include these thoughts into your deckbuilding. The format is fair and there are other ways to win too.

why release the booster so early?
why not release it like a sealed ~20 minutes before the tournament starts?

By the way:
Turn 1 Bird
Turn 2 Nothing
Turn 3 Goblin Razer
Turn 4 Counter/Volcanic
-> you won the game, gg.

There's nothing to counter Goblin Razer.

12 Mountain
12 Forest

10 Birds of Paradise
12 Volcanic Fallout
14 Goblin Razer

----------------------------

Adjust to your liking
I was also thinking of a build than ran Mulldrifter and Thrummingbird, but that seems like a waste of time.
--------------------------------
New deck.

12 Mountain
12 Plains
18 Goblin Razer
18 Sanctum Gargoyle

The most challenging task for this fun-format is deckbuilding

Ok, we got a relentless tourney today total of 8 players.
Thanks to everyone who joined this mini, i really appreciate it ^_^
Hope everyone got some fun, especially Top8er in finals Very Happy

Let say, we have seen ZERO gargoyles in the decks. So, whoever said no artifact removal is bad for this pool, was not totally correct.

All-star card of booster: Golbin Razerunners (used in 7 out of 8 decks)

"Metagame": Razz
Mono-red razerunners.dec: 2 players
Birds of Paradise razerunners/pyro ramp: 6 players

Winner: iSperia with decklist:
Code:
//NAME: Untitled Deck
     19 Goblin Razerunners
     6 Uthden Troll
     35 Mountain
// Sideboard:
SB:  15 Volcanic Fallout

Noticable Techs:
1) Castle + Birds of Paradise + volcanic fallout = profit
2) Uthden Troll blocking razerunners (saved my finals)
3) Mulldrifter in birds ramp deck is amazing! it makes that curve/card advantage/stabilization and flies over razerunners! it is amazing

I beleive the best deck on todays is:

Code:
//NAME: Untitled Deck
     10 Mountain
     15 Forest
     11 Mulldrifter
     10 Goblin Razerunners
     14 Birds of Paradise
// Sideboard:
SB:  1 Island
SB:  1 Goblin Razerunners
SB:  13 Thrummingbird

I so liked drifters ^_^ But i was lucky enough to kill BoredAndPoor

Well, thank you players who came and join my tourney a lot! Very Happy Hope we'll see in furter on some more relentless event!

P.S.: decklists are placed here: http://www.magic-league.com/tournament/info.php?id=78959&view=decks
