Using mana dorks is a bad idea due too board sweepers

You should run more ramp such as solemn simalcrum and maybe run boundless realms too get all the rest of the colors.

ok A. my local meta doesnt really run sweepers, and B. no other green deck seems to fear sweepers i.e. birds, arbor elf, llanowar etc. for now the dorks stay as they help speed up the chances of getting the right mana the earlieast. also in regards to boundless realms, it costs 7. the way things stand right now as long as i have a door early i can win by turn 7-8. i was thinking of using rites of flourishing but i think ill just board what i need to improve and tweak as i play.

hahaha, this is true. curse would totally screw me. i have plenty of gem of becoming, but i didnt like the idea of the lands going to my hand. i felt it was slower than the way it runs now. im going to sideboard all of these suggestions anyway to see what i can tweak and get best results as i go.

Why not just make your deck GW with BoP, board sweepers for creature control, Solemn Simulacrums, Farseek, Rampant Growth, a couple Gem of Becoming, etc?

i dont have the board sweepers yet. im actually trying to aquire them for a UW tamiyo thing im workin on. birds is an option. if i had them id definitely play them ove rthe elves. i think i can get me some. no one at my store has solemns for trade as most people are playing theirs. and i dont believe i have any rampant growths, i refuse to believe i overlooked that capability when i went thru all my green. im still going to board the gems for now and change it up as i play to see what works. thanks guys, oh and voltaic key is outside of standard....
