Looks like a lot of entries for this one! Of course looks can be deceiving. Apparently half of the posts are arguing about the validity of a certain undying Tinder Wall. Oh you crazy ML'ers...

Onto the judging! Be aware that I am an emotional being who judges on a whim, no whining. A-F grading system, away!

Pretty boring, but for sure playable. There's probably even a broken loop given that creatures can be tapped for mana even if they have summoning sickness. That flavour text is terrible. "nature conscripts nature for nature"? What the hell does that mean? B-

I don't think you have to, "reveal a colored card", to have the same effect. Revealing a colourless card would just give no mana. Sloppy wording imo.

Let me just let you in on a little secret. If your card had just said, "T : add 1 mana of any colour to your mana pool", I would have just given you the win. But because of the song and dance attached because you think you need a drawback..... B

I'm pretty sure I read this a couple days ago and something was different, can't quite put my finger on it. I don't remember it saccing. Why is this little baby ritual of a cantrip a rare? Anyways, I like it. Seems fun and tricksy. A

Er..... how the fuck is this not broken? Coming into play tapped and tapping for colourless is traditionally 2 mana, but you have it for zero mana. What the hell were you thinking? Heck, you can just have 2 mana on the first turn as well. LOL, this thing is obv way too powerful.

Your original submission was much cooler. Don't go editing your cards fifty times because of trolls. F

I gotta be honest, green cards that give mana are pretty boring and dumb. I don't even know or care of the power level of this, and the flavour? The flavour for all this green shit is all the same, dumb. I'm giving this an F because it makes me want to puke just reading it. Sorry. F

I know you wanted a creature, and this easily could be made into a creature, but I think it is better flavor wise and is less abuseable as just a sorcery that makes a creature token.

Edit to fix it up a bit, make the wording correct (I hope) and put flavor text on.

I love it! I'm just wondering how utterly broken this is. Nah, too good with Gravecrawler. You need some kind of a restriction to keep this from getting out of hand. I do really like it, but too easy to break it. B-

well, my cards mechanic is designed so it will be interactive and require some skill and decision making. I doubt you thought much about it, but I found quite some interesting scenarios for such a simple card. But well, ty for your oppinion.

My card isn't nearly as strong as you think it is, or at least not for the reason you gave. It's a three-card on-board creature-based combo to generate infinite mana, which is already in Standard. The combo that's in Standard has seen absolutely no constructed play whatsoever, not even a little. This combo is a little more consistent because it doesn't require two of the same card in play, but that's not enough to push it from being a completely useless combo to broken.

I dunno, I think it's far too swingy - it either loses you the game because you can't find a color and you're stuck with a useless land or you're curving into a turn 3 4 drop with no drawback.

Nonetheless, City of Ravnica was one of the coolest cards I've ever seen in any CaC. I'm very surprised it didn't win. Kudos, BIRDYYY.

Am I the only one who dislikes City of Ravnica? It's just a significantly better City of Brass. There isn't even a flavourful reason it should randomly have a huge life gain ability stapled on to it. Especially given that it's a solid land in its own right, being able to sacrifice it to completely negate its drawback and then some when you're flooded is strong, and it even negates the legendary drawback in the same manner.

Secondly - I completely agree Candace. I liked City of Ravnica alot but thought that a Legendary City of Brass was cool enough in itself and didnt need the extra ability tagged on

You're welcome!

I really liked how the land was legendary. The sacrifice ability both helped offset the life loss, as well as free up extra copies in your hand at the cost of a land drop. It was a very clever card.
