Mythic

*Dwarves. Minus one point for having a typo. =P

base version: desolation giant (http://magiccards.info/ap/en/59.html)

Desolation Giant was actually sorta playable... It was no Wood Elemental - you sorta just made it more streamlined.

All creatures are artifacts in addition to their other types

Artifact Creature — Sphinx 4/4, 4UU (6)

Hm. It is an upgrade.

Creatures with power 3 or greater don't untap during their controllers' untap steps.
T: Tap target creature.

More streamlined, better gameplay impact - but not really giving oomph to a bad card (Marble Titan was usable, sometimes)

U: ~ gets +2/-2 until end of turn.

The wizard became bored again and did not repeat his mistake in creating a bunny mixed with a piranha . This time, he improved it.

Now this is an upgrade! Kinda disappointed it wasn't a Rabbit.

No flavor text as that would clutter the text box way too much.

More streamlining, more playability, and a static prot white.

I hate how simple Dopeman made it. It *is* uncanny, how this would easily become a chase card.

Whenever an opponent casts a spell or attacks, exile Norin the Compleated. Return it to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step with a +1/+1 counter on it.

Counters remain on Norin the Compleated as it moves into exile and onto the battlefield.

They may have removed most of his humanity, but numerous upgrades have yet to remove his cowardice

2/1

This might be the first card that "remembers" itself as it moves through zones. I think the awesome thing about Norin (original) was that it could attack - and then bounce itself.

4cc, 5/5 trample would have been good enough =). So - now he's really a hero.

Creature - Phoenix - Mythic Rare
Flying
If Flowstone Phoenix would die, return Flowstone Phoenix to its owner's hand instead. Until that player's next turn, that player plays with that card revealed in his or her hand and can't play it.
As long as Flowstone Phoenix is revealed in a player's hand, creatures get +2/-2.

This.... might be a wee bit too powerful in the right deck.

If you have a Mountain in your graveyard Drimodaz Dragon of the Core gains haste.

Affinity for mountains.

Loved this card when I started. Classic kid :p.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Clarification for the flavor text: Imagine a Rhox with 2 heads and 4 hands - the other head looks older/wiser (to partially explain the hexproof part).

This is way too powerful. It's effectively 10 damage a turn, 15 if something blocks it. If the opponent has a Stuffy Doll...

Lotsa bad cards made cooler. And lots of bad ones made good.

At the end of the day, I'd have to go with my gut and choose my favourite.

Squee wins.

Kidding.

GunsandDope - with the Savannah Lions 2.0 - for simplicity and elegance! You get to judge the next round.

Props to Luckyducky of the Rabbit, Duodax of Krosa, Axiomblurr of Haj - for being awesome with their card choices!

Gademis, I thought hard about that Core Dragon. It woulda been awesome in Big Red.
