Hi. Got a problem with MWS

All works ok except 2 things.

1. I cant change the theme, when i do it freezes the program (fails to change). I run on vista64 and ticked both run as admin and work under XP

2. When i play online (played only few times, im new with MWS) i get constantly (after random time) errors (or maybe disconnects?)

a) During Host Viewer - Connection error "could not receive data(10053: software caused connection abort)"

b) During gameplay (sometimes less than minute sometimes after few min) depends mostly without me doing anything i notice no answer from opponent + nothing in chat and then if i press / move / do anything it comes with errors which are diff from time to time but mostly Access violation

- Connection failure. Unknown error.
-Access violation at address 077C63592 in module ntdll.dll. Write off address XXXXXX
- Could not receive data

Also (not always) when i press Reconnect i get error "invalid pointer operation" but later followed by access violation

EDIT: Just had another error just after the start "External exception C0000022." All errors happen 80% ish before 1min of the game

EDIT2: Happens even before i connect (in host viewer) and now its unplayable even if i get lucky to start the game i get error 95% before turn 2 Sad

PLEASE HELP - my int connection doesnt D/C

First of all I need some more information from you. Exactly what location did you install your copy of MWS? I ask this because if you install it under Programs(x86), you'll need to reinstall anyways.

Second, you're coming across frequent errors, I'd suggest reinstalling the program and see if that works. Uninstall, restart computer, reinstall, choose a different folder than the default location, mine is "C:\Magic".

This could be caused by the server not being up. I find especially near a new patch when people are adding their own versions of the newest set, that the server becomes unstable and restarts often causing everyone a lot of errors.

The other main reason this happens is your connection to the internet. Don't say that your internet doesn't d/c because I have yet to find a company that keeps the net up consistently, and we have tried a LOT of companies. Every so often you lose packets due to routine lag via your isp, and when that happens this game in particular gives you errors.

I don't know. If I were you, I'd reinstall, and see if that helps.

Thank you very much for help

Actually yes, i have it under program files x86 i reinstalled and now its working not bad. It just suddenly started to work fine, altough i still have that connection error quite often

I've got myself into another problem now -_-

I changed Master Base file to open with notepad and forgot to unclick 'always choose....' and now altough i can get MWS to work, that new zendikar masterbase is not working for me (doesnt load up zendikar at all)

But anyway, thank you very much for help, you were the only one who tried :]

I am facing the same problem. While playing online MWS suddenly stops responding and then it begin to writes access violation error 66(and something more) read adress 000000 ( may be a few more zeros i am not sure now).
I have already uninstalled and re-installed MWS and restarted after both. And also program is on C:\Magic. Any ideas?
