Just to make sure I didn't get my rulings wrong...
NAP controls a Birds of Paradise suited up with Sword of Feast and Famine. AP resolves Zealous Conscripts, which grabs BoP. Sword doesn't become unattached. During combat, the traitorous BoP dealt damage to NAP.
Am I right to say that the player who took the damage discards a card (NAP, in this case) and the controller of the Sword untaps all his lands (also NAP, in this case, not the AP)?
Relevant ruling: Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, that player discards a card and you untap all lands you control. |

The control of an aura wouldn't change either. It might feel that way since most of creature enchantments directly affect the dude.
In the actual question NAP would discard a card and untap all of his or her lands. The equipment and so its triggered ability is still under NAP's control. ck3gds is right with his thoughts. |
