Great entries so far, but remember, the judging criteria this time is very skewed towards my personal preferences, so even if everyone thinks X is awesome, I'll fail it if I think it bores me.

Deadline set to exactly three days from this post (i.e. Wed Apr 18, 2012, 12.43pm) - submissions past this timestamp will not be judged.

I'll close early if there are no other entries within exactly 24 hours of the last submission.

Zak'Narush, Hexmaster | 2RUGG

Legendary Creature - Orc Shaman

Haste.

Whenever Zak'narush attacks, each creature your opponents control becomes a 3/3 Frog until end of turn.

Creatures you control get +1/+1 for each Frog on the battlefield.

Whenever a Frog dies, draw a card.

When I be cursin', dey really be hatin'!

Hey people, sorry to keep you waiting. I'm looking at the entries now. Don't expect detailed explanations though Smile

Going down the list...

MassO: It seems to be aggro only for the sake of being aggro. I'd have preferred either full-on aggro, full-on ramp or full-on tutoring. As it is now I'm not sure what I'd do with him.

Hendrix_21: Simply put, the effects don't wow me enough.

huntergatsby: I'm sorry but I really don't like such effects. Maybe it's just me, but I feel that if I don't wanna be on the receiving end of an un-fun effect, then I shouldn't be doing it to others either.

CharlesT: A softer Cryptic Command that you can activate anytime by returning lands to your hand? Pair it with green and you have a monster. I have a feeling that this will attract a lot of hate, so while the effect is refreshing, I'll have to pass.

NearSideMoon: It's quirky, but being colorless means I'm very limited on what I can do...which brings me to the abilities - how can I have colored cards inside a colorless EDH deck? Next!

blitzer2k7: This is quite a powerful effect, and furthermore he can dodge removal as long as you have mana open. The ability is well-defined enough that one look was enough for me to start brainstorming for a deck. I like this Very Happy

Stucco: I'm not going to choose this, simply because I will be annihilated by a Wrath of God!

pseudodespot: I like the spin on Doran's ability, it's very unique. However, the problem is that the pseudo-shroud means that I can't go Voltron if I have another creature in play. Then I won't know what else to do with it. Pity Sad

sc4rs: Each activation only hits for two damage? That's a very small number in EDH terms! Gaining four life per activation is scant consolation. I'd have preferred something like, "T, Tap X untapped creatures you control: deal 1 to each creature tapped this way, twice X to target creature/player, X to herself." Now THAT is a true martyr!

ikazuchi: I'm not really a fan of Tarmogoyf, and the exile-to-tutor part seems a bit counterintuitive. I get a "meh" feeling in general.

AxiomBlurr: I can go either WB token, WB control, WB voltron. Quite versatile Smile My only gripe is the "Angel and Demon" part...it just feels weird.

Balaviaris: I think more often than not this P.Metamorph+Body Double is a land-ramper rather than an enchantment tutor. Anyway I get this feeling that the abilities were tacked on just to fit the colors. There's just not much synergy.

InWaking: No offense but I'm a bit tired of seeing Voltron-style commanders...

Gademis: He's a one-hit wonder - the first time you play against him it's all fun and laughter; subsequently people just get tired of casting spells that don't do what they should be doing. Too much chaos is bad.

CMA-Flippi: Points for hilarity, but otherwise not really what I want.

DoomBr1nger: It's interesting and quite unique in execution as well. The only thing I'd change is to maybe change the hexing to affect only creatures controlled by the defending player(s).

axman: I'm not sure if this was what you had in mind, but if you pay the mimic cost to copy A, the bounce trigger will go on the stack above the copy ability. If you choose to bounce A (e.g. maybe it's a legendary creature or a planeswalker), then the copy ability fizzles. Other than that, I think it's a very Johnny card. Not exactly my type, but it certainly has its appeal!

Having gone through all the entries, I feel that blitzer2k7's submission most closely matches my criteria. It may not be in my favorite color, but it's one of the few that really got me thinking about a deck idea. Honorable mentions to sc4rs and pseudodespot as well!

Does someone want to ping blitzer2k7 to get him to start a new CaC? Has someone already?
