It is Player 1's turn. He attacks with a 1/1 Spirit token.

Player 2 activates his Mishra's Factory and blocks the 1/1 creature.
Mishra's Factory Taps to give itself +1/+1 until end of turn.

Combat damage is assigned. The 1/1 token dies.

In Player 1's second combat phase he casts a Phyrexian Metamorph targeting the Mishra's Factory.

During Player 2's upkeep what P/T and abilities does the Phyrexian Metamorph have?

First of all, Phyrexian Metamorph's ability doesn't target. You simply choose an artifact or creature when you apply the effect.

The Phyrexian Metamorph will have the following abilities, both during the turn it enters the battlefield, and during the next turn's upkeep: "T: Add 1 to your mana pool." and "1: Mishra's Factory becomes a 2/2 Assembly-Worker artifact creature until end of turn. It's still a land. / T: Target Assembly-Worker creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn."

It will not have any power or toughness as it is not a creature, just an artifact and a land.

Hate to ask, but wouldn't the metamorph stay a 2/2 creature instead of reverting back to being just a land?

It will return to a land at the end of every turn it is activated. My friend does this with Inkmoth Nexus and Cackling Counterpart in T2. Eot mana ramp and a threat.

The metamorph comes into play as an unactivated Mishra factory it still has to be activated before it can become a creature. Just thought i'd clear that up .

It is *never* a 2/2 or even a creature. It enters as a land. It can be activated to become a 2/2 creature. Neither the activation to become a creature nor the +1/+1 until EOT are among the copiable characteristics.

Why a 1/1? Mishra's Factory turns into a 2/2 creature.

That's my mistake for misremembering the card, I will edit my post. The important part is still correct. I actually thought R0B was saying that it should not only be a creature, but get all of its current turn buffs as well :p
