This one is for pseudodespot.

The next create a card will be simple. I want to see your dream card! Any card you wished wotc printed.. But never did.

No rules, few guidelines though.
It must have a correct template, power level versus rarity should be regulated. I love cards that are flavurful and i value straight forward design and not drowning with words...

... The last thing is... It should affect or have an impact on current standard meta.

Other than that... Its a free for all.. Hav fun

Infectious Aether UU

Return target nonland permanent to it's owner's hand, then proliferate.

Swallow in Flame
R
Sorcery - Common
Swallow in Flame deals 3 damage to target creature or player.

I'm still confused why Wizards hasn't tried a sorcery speed Lightning Bolt yet. It seems like it fixes it pretty well.

Double Agent U
Enchantment - Aura *Uncommon*

Enchant creature with converted mana cost 1 or less.
You control enchanted creature.
Cycling 3U (3U, Discard this card: Draw a card.)
The best spies don't even know it.

I more wanted this deck for Modern because of crap like Grim Lavamancer or Goblin Guide. Those cards really rape my mono blue ninja deck. lol, this card would completely warp everything from T2 to Legacy. I love it.

I made the cycling really high because the card is pretty much good enough without it. I just figured without the cycling it would just be a narrow sb card, and that's no fun. I want my dream card to be maindeckable!

Lava Pool

Land (rare)

TAP: add 1 to your mana pool.
TAP: pay 2 life, sacrifice Lava Pool: destroy target land.

---------

With wasteland not Modern legal (and at 30$ if not more) and Ghost Quarter too weak an alternative I feel there's a bit of an unbalance at the moment in favour of people being able to get away with ridiculously complicated mana bases. IMO somebody playing a 3 or 4 color deck should feel the pain.

Ponza, Molten Shaman
RRGG
Legendary Creature - Elemental Shaman

4/1
Flash
Whenever Ponza enters the battlefield or attacks, put target non-basic land on top of its owners library.

As long as your opponent controls a non-basic land, you may cast Ponza from your graveyard.

Undertaker's Rites (B)

Sorcery {R}

Destroy target nontoken creature, if Undertaker's Rites was cast from
your graveyard, return a creature of your choice from any graveyard
to the battlefield under your control.

Flashback (1B)

"Those who take care of the dead, eventually learn their language." - Liliana

I wanted an additional card that had two functions that could be used in a reanimation deck in standard. This really serves two purposes and on 3 turn can really change the tide, by getting rid of two of their creatures and putting a Elesh or another fatty into play.

Enlightening 1UW

Sorcery - common

You draw two cards and gain 3 life.

You say nothing good can come when faith and science are involved in the same matter. I say knowledge is faith, and faith is knowledge. Let them inspire you my friend, for the benefit of one and all.

And that's perfectly normal in a game of magic, right? Smile

Mana Reversal UU
Instant -- Uncommon
Counter target spell. That spell's controller may add X mana of any color to their mana pool, where X is the countered spell's converted mana cost.
In one ear and out the other...

I miss counterspell... unfortunately there isn't really any "good" substitutes. Until now ; ).
