An 80 card deck with 27 lands? What is this?

Why, it's a T2 GW Fast Mana Creature Deck of course, with the worst fucking unreadable formatting ever. Jeepers, I got vertigo trying to read that list. Almost dropped my joint into my beer, geez.

OK. Some advice: Cut all of them, then start again with the good cards, like Titans, Garruk, O-Ring, Solemn.

If you wanna go birds-elves play cheaper creatures and swords, if you go full titans play more solemn and no critter accelerators.

Look arroud what decks use those cards, and try to balance removal/creatures and the manacurve, ie spread the cost of the spells.

Everyone, quit being douches and teach him what he's doing wrong.

First off, you want to run 60 cards so you can maximize your percentages for drawing the cards you need. Second off, 27 lands is far too few for an 80-card deck. The baseline is 24 lands for 60 cards.

I'll work on my version and then you can compare it to yours and see what you think.

This is my take on this deck. I beat a guy with RUB Burning Vengeance 2 matches, 2-0 each time, if that's worth anything to ya.

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
4 [SOM] Razorverge Thicket
5 [M12] Plains (1)
6 [M12] Forest (4)
4 [ISD] Gavony Township
4 [M12] Sunpetal Grove

// Creatures
4 [DKA] Vorapede
4 [M12] Birds of Paradise
2 [NPH] Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite
4 [NPH] Blade Splicer
4 [MBS] Mirran Crusader
2 [M12] Llanowar Elves
4 [ISD] Avacyn's Pilgrim

// Spells
3 [M12] Garruk, Primal Hunter
3 [SOM] Elspeth Tirel
3 [M12] Overrun
4 [M12] Oblivion Ring

// Sideboard
SB: 4 [M12] Celestial Purge
SB: 4 [M12] Naturalize
SB: 4 [M12] Timely Reinforcements
SB: 3 [MBS] Thrun, the Last Troll

Btw, Vorapede doesn't work too well with Gavoney Township. =D

Good luck in all your Magic pursuits and don't let the dicks on this site get ya down.

The number one thing I can suggest is that you get out there and read every article you can, or do what the rest of us had to do and just keep making the same mistakes over and over again until you finally figure it out.

Just don't forget that this game is fun (a fact which is foreign on the minds of most poker players here).

G&D's list isn't bad, though I don't know if I agree with even bothering to include Vorapede. He seems sort of wasted in a deck like this, when you could have something like Geist-Honored Monk or Increasing Devotion that plays better with Gavony Township, Elspeth, and Overrun.

Yeah, swapped him out for increasing devotion. Way better now.
