I plan on playing this combo. Faithless Looting and Ponder seems good, plus the fact some of the cards can be in the graveyard. Also going to run Devil's Play/Red Sun to use the mana if Myr isn't around.

Nihil Spellbomb and that Cage thing seem scary, but that's what Mental Misstep and Steel Sabotage are for. I'm planning a tricky sideboard too, featuring Frost Titan and such.

Looking forward to turn three winning.

Even with Ponder and Faithless, I don't see the T3 win happening enough to pat this deck on the back. I'm sure it will happen more than one in a thousand, but I'm likewise sure that mana requirements will screw it until T4 at best many more times than the T3 gets off.

You can focus the build on a combo... but when the pieces of the combo are also pieces of a strong control build - the question arises: "Why make yourself a combo deck that is fragile to a single entity, when the pieces you have are already a strong control build?"

Slap a grave titan in there, or an inferno titan, and call it a day. You have a control deck when you protect the combo "too much", and that control deck can win just as often... if not more.

You don't need Myr, but you now need Devil's Play. Provided you're running four of, the chances are completely the same. If you're running two of which is more likely, go ahead and cut the chances in half.
