Create a card that has "for as long as ~ remains on the battlefield" as part of its ability and ofc make it flavourful.

I'll probably judge this next year.

Creature - Human Wizard *Uncommon*
Whenever ~ enters the battlefield tap target permanent. It doesn’t untap during its controller’s untap step for as long as ~ remains on the battlefield.

Stamp of Failure 3

Artifact (rare)

2, T: Target creature loses all abilities and becomes 0/1 for as long as Stamp of Failure remains on the battlefield.

Etherium Awakener 1UG

When Etherium Awakener enters the battlefiend,
target artifact becomes a 4/4 Beast creature with
trample for as long as Etherium Awakener remains
on the battlefield.
Life and Etherium are blessings, so I will spend
all my time to preserve them both.

An effect like this doesn't require the "for as long as ~ remains on the battlefield" clause. You might want to rethink your entry?

Land Enchantment

When Frozen Tundra enters the battlefield, Tap all lands.

For as long as Frozen Tundra is on the battlefield, players skip their
upkeep step, draw two additional cards during their draw step and
players can't play land cards.

I think this is another one that doesn't require the "as long as..." clause? Rolling Eyes

Target creature gets -4/-4 for as long as Temporal Arch-leech remains on the battlefield.

Cards in graveyards cannot be the targets of spells or abilities for as long as Temporal Arch-leech remains on the graveyard.

Realm Seeker 1G

Creature - Elf Scout - Rare

When Realm Seeker enters the battlefield, search your library for a land card and exile it. Shuffle your library afterwards.

As long as Realm Seeker is on the battlefield, lands with the same name as a card exiled with Realm Seeker produce an additional mana that land could produce.
