Alright scratch that modular/suspend guy. I'll just submit this one instead.

Snapcaster Elder - 6UU
Creature - Human Wizard
Uncommon

Flash

As an additional cost to play Snapcaster Elder, exile an instant or sorcery card in your graveyard. Snapcaster Elder costs X less to play, where X is the total converted mana cost of the exiled card.

When Snapcaster Elder enters the battlefield, you may copy the exiled card. If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

When you cast Snapcaster Elder, choose an instant or sorcery card in your graveyard. Snapcaster Elder costs X less where X is equal to the chosen cards converted mana cost. The chosen card gains flashback until end of turn. The flashback cost is equal to zero.

This doesn't work either. "When you cast" triggers happen after costs are paid.

@CMA-Flippi
There is Avacyn's Pilgrim (the mana dude) allready. The similarity between those names is just awkward.

@all: Remember that you should design a common or uncommon. Almost all of the submissions so far are way off that target.

I'll skip this round. I honestly think there's no hope for beating Jacois' card. It's just perfect for the request.

Desperate Times 6BB
Sorcery - Uncommon

You may discard your hand rather than pay Desperate Times mana cost. Use this ability, only if you have at least 1 card in hand.

Destroy up to 2 target creatures.

Totem of Oblivion ( 8 ) - uncommon
Artifact
As an additional cost to pay Totem of Oblivion, you may exile any number of artifacts you control. If you do, Totem of Oblivion costs (X) less to play, where X is total converted mana cost of exiled artifacts this way.
When Totem of Oblivion enters the battlefield, exile target permanent.

This thing erases reality since you even start to think of it

P.S. thanx for noticing smiley face issue Smile
P.P.S. the idea is second totem is free to play, you may pay with your magnets for first copy, and next totem will cost just 0 mana to play

Troll Chameleon 5GGG
Creature - Troll (U)

Morph 2GG
Hexproof

4/4

Edit: Isn't it funny some times? I was excited that no one had thought of Morph yet, but while I dithered over whether or not to include flavor text, someone else did post one. Nonetheless, I will not change my submission; I can see a Troll morpher seeing t2 play, but not a virtual vanilla.

The way you have your mana formatted ( 8 ) shows a smiley face, so it doesn't actually show a CMC.
