I just can't stop this deck...mana boom...then multiple inkmoths and multiple Kessig Wolf Run. Side in destroy artifact instant...now trying Bladed Pinions...I lose %90 of time to this deck.

Race it, counter it or play titan before they do.

This is pretty much what T2 is in MTG at the moment.

If you sided in artifact removal, you need to wait until they try to pump to use it. Acidic slime is a great proactive removal for it though.

Leonin Arbiter with Ghost Quarters and DoJ's help alot.

Any instant speed removal for the Inkmoths are great, which aren't really the problem, kessig's are.

You could ghost quarter the kessig and Surgical extraction it then back it up with DoJ's and Counters

Flashfreeze, Extractions, arbiters and even torpor Orb is gravy vs Kessig

Both of these are horrible plans for dealing with the Kessig deck, especially the equipment which is laughable.

It'd be helpful if you'd let us know what deck you are playing so we can give more specific advice.

ya thats good post-kessig pump. time walk urself. thank you, drive thru. but its only good if theyre swinging with ONE guy. i like marrow shards better. can do it post-pump, can do it while tapped out to bluff. if gut shot is pro tech i dont wanna turn pro ever. good sometimes in certain decks against mana dorks and such but i could find a better replacement for GS in general i think with some thought involved.

I am guessing that they are saying that pinions only takes away one Blinkmoth and if they attack with two, wait till you declare blocks then pump then you still die. Plus it cost 4 mana one turn or 2 mana on subsequent turns which limits what you could be doing if you are holding a gutshot and are tapped out you still have the a defense for the blinkmoth.

Also because you have to have a blocker to attach it to.
