Ok, not my problem but wanna help...
A friend and I want to play nline, but she rejects the idea of playing without her card images.
She built the Wicked Big Mirrodin Theme Deck and downloaded the MR.zip file fro the same place I did.
She uses Vista, and had a looot of bugs with MWS but a reistall made it work... but she told me that, when she etracted the pics on the PICS folder, they just didn't show up, and she extracts them into her desktop and magically, they apear there...
She tried opening MWS to see if the pics were at least shown there but with no satisfactory results... the thing is, we REALLY want to play and she won't do it without pics -.-
Any solution? |

| All I can really tell you is that there are tons of problems with Vista. The first solution is always to "Run in Admin Mode." Barring that working, try doing a google search for "magic workstation images tutorial". |

Hm well... we've tried that already, the problem isn't really workstation tself and we already used google (forums were my last resource).
She just downloaded the zip and unzips it into C:/Program Files/Magic Workstation/Pics... The mystery is that the images are supposedly extraced in said directory but will never show up, and if she tries extracting them again, a message pops up asking if she wants to replace the older files... that means the images are there. We tried showing hidden files but didn't work, she even uninstalled MWS and erased the Pics folder... And as I said, extracting the ara elsewhere do grants her access to the pictures... |

Go into your tools tab in MWS and go to preferences (or just hit f10).
When the pop up comes up select the "Image View" option on the left and in the bottom right corner there is a button that should say "Setup pictures Directories". Once you click that you will see a list of directories that come up and a little folder in the bar. Click that then find the correct folder with the images and hit okay and it should work after that. |
