So my first full draft video!!!! so exciting!!!!! Still having issues with videos recording for random periods of time so a lot of links, hope its not to much of an inconvenience.

Sadly modo did not save a lot of my games to go over on the replays ive put up all the ones it did. Im not much of a talker so im working on my commentary skills hopefully it will get better with time, so bear with me with that. Please post any play mistakes or where you would differ in the draft on here. I'm prob not as good a player as i am drafter but hopefully this well help improve my play and be a bit of fun.

Nice to have something to watch when lazy LSV doesnt do his job on weekends! Thx for that.Wink

I only checked out the draft part so far and actually I think you are doing a pretty good job. You're commentary is even better than that of the Ocho... Very Happy The most obvious thing to improve on here is pausing when nothing happens. So if you start recording when you actually have the first pack in front of you and pause it while the player next to you isn't passing cards, it's just a better experience to watch. Also I like the way LSV is shortening the deck building process. He pauses after the draft, then shows the complete deck and discusses which cards he left out/put in and why.

For the actual picks I only disagree with very few: The first being Pacifism over Call to the Grave. While this is probably defendanble later in a draft if you dont have the right deck to go with Call, I think that P1P2 the possibilities of drafting around Call make it so that it is just the far more powerful card. If you play Zombie into turn 5 Call its just like gg right there a lot of games.
The second one I didnt like was Drifting Shade over Deathmark at the end of pack one. This was when you only had Doom Blade in black and where thinking aloud about splashing black off of Manalith. Therefore Drifting Shade was very unlikely to make your deck at that point, while Deathmark was basically for sure a very good sideboard card you can also easily bring in on a black splash.
The last one that stuck was the one where you picked Mind Rot over Consume Spirit. At this point one could already see the deck drifting more towards "the dark side of the force", Very Happy you already had a Mind Rot and they basically go very late anyways. Therefore I think that it was way more likely that you would want the Consume Spirit in your deck than the second Mind Rot of which you easily could pick up more later or wheel the one in that very pack.

The rest I think went pretty streamlined and as said above: Good job dude! Wink I'm gonna watch the games later and then maybe be back for more.

So long, keep up the good work and maybe do a Ravnica Block Draft next time! Wink

Hey, thanks i can see where you coming from with all your arguments. Had i realized just how black I was, I would have certainly took the consume spirit but i was still wrongly under the impression that i was more white than black.

I'm still experimenting with the recording software, I don't think fraps is quite of the same quality as the recording package LSV is using.

GenesisTimer addressed all of the card choices I would have gone the other way. Another reason Call to the grave>pacifism is you weren't in white yet. So you could stay in only black at that point, although second pacifism probably would've made you go white anyways, because sthirst isn't quite as good as pacifism and you were still open, but you could have still stayed monoblack by taking the thirst and take shock next pick and be BR. Anyways, nice video. About to see how you play your deck.
