what do we call this format.

Type 5x3

it makes sense because 5x3 is 15 and 3 is the amount of side deck space

also i didnt know about the mill 7 chancellor being banned
replace with hedron crab ftw

The generally accepted name is 15 Card Highlander (aka 15CH).

Also, as my original post stated, the usual banlist for the format includes ALL MILL CARDS because in this format, a card like tome scour is roughly equivalent to "discard 5 random cards". After you draw 7, your deck only has 8 cards left. Taking any significant chunk of those away is just broken. Additionally, zeniths are unfair when you can reuse them every turn after you both run out of cards, and elixir of immortality just makes it too easy to never ever run out of gas.

The entire Zenith cycle is not banned in any 15CH T2 tournament I've ever played in - only Red Sun's Zenith. The other ones either do nothing when you have no other cards (Blue & Green), or have prohibitive costs for their reusable effects when you only have a few lands.

I've personally found WW Tempered Steel and UG Infect to be the best decks in the format:

4 [DDE] Plains
1 [NPH] Vault Skirge
1 [MBS] Phyrexian Revoker
1 [NPH] Porcelain Legionnaire
1 [SOM] Memnite
1 [MBS] Signal Pest
1 [M11] Steel Overseer
1 [M11] Ornithopter
1 [SOM] Mox Opal
1 [MGD] Tempered Steel
1 [SOM] Glint Hawk Idol
1 [NPH] Dispatch

1 [MBS] Inkmoth Nexus
1 [ZEN] Misty Rainforest
2 [ROE] Forest (1)
1 [10E] Island (2)
1 [MBS] Viridian Corrupter
1 [NPH] Glistener Elf
1 [NPH] Blighted Agent
1 [SOM] Contagion Clasp
1 [M12] Mana Leak
1 [NPH] Dismember
1 [ROE] Distortion Strike
1 [NPH] Mutagenic Growth
1 [WWK] Groundswell
1 [ZEN] Vines of Vastwood

This format needs one more rule to make it actually fun:

Once a card goes to the graveyard, it may only be removed from game, it can not go back to a player's deck.

Just ran a mini in this.

I'm not convinced for the case for banning Eldrazi etc. as you are running what is effectively a dead card in your 15.

If anyone has a more developed ban list than the one on SCG please share: http://www.starcitygames.com/magic/multiplayer/22495_Getting_It_Done_In_15.html

Inferno titan cost 4RR and you have only 5 lands that produce mana.
