Here is a rough list I have been working with. Currently it depends highly on the Leyline of the Void with Eldrazi still seeing play. I would like to say though that Jace, Memory Adept and Jace's Archivist have massive game winning potential in a mill deck.

2 [9E] Swamp (1)
8 [9E] Island (3)
2 [BRB] Forest (3)
4 [ZEN] Scalding Tarn
4 [ZEN] Misty Rainforest
4 [ZEN] Verdant Catacombs
4 [M12] Jace's Archivist
4 [ZEN] Hedron Crab
4 [M11] Tome Scour
4 [M12] Jace, Memory Adept
4 [M11] Leyline of the Void
4 [M12] Rampant Growth
4 [M12] Rites of Flourishing
4 [ZEN] Archive Trap
4 [M12] Jace's Erasure

Suggestions and comments please. Let's make mill a house again.

The problem is your deck has a total lack of defenses. It's like playing a burn deck where your opponent had 60 life and your burn spells can't kill creatures. The only successful mill deck in recent memory was a turbo fog deck and that only had 2-3 archive traps and jace as a kill. The rest of the deck was card draw, fogs and counters,

Instead of Rampant Growth, use Overgrown Battlement. Gives mana and the ability to block.

Rites of florishing should not be in this deck, the advantage you give your opponent is to hard to overcome.

Replace Rites with Solemn Guy that gets land and draws (ie another blocker)

Take advantage of Jace's erasure and the new jace by taking out Tome scour and adding in Tezzeret's gambit.

Leyline of the Void should have 3 sb but other than that should be removed......add in preordain or even Gitaxian probe.

Are you really wasting maindeck spots on Leyline of the Void?

If you really want to keep the rites of flourishing in it and really do some damage with the Jace's Erasure, then add in 3 Consecrated Sphinx.

that would be drawing 4 on his turn and milling 4, then you draw 2 yourself and mill him for 2 more, that is 12 per turn starting 4th turn.

Not to mention you could Blue Zenth's him with those three cards out and it would be good game!

Zenith Him for 5, causing you to draw 10, causing him to be milled by 10. That is 15 cards there, but Archive trap is less mana and will accomplish the same thing.

Mull will never be in type 2 for as long as Emrakul is there. If Mull began to win, people would be sbing 4 of him as an auto win.

I think it's coming back as maybe a casual deck archetype. As said before, there's cards that don't want to go to the graveyard floating around in standard right now, so instead of auto-lose you ought to be playing something like Blue Sun's Zenith.

It has a lot more utility than Leyline. (They get down to 4 cards in the library that can't go to the graveyard and you play Blue Sun's Zenith for five!)

Mill hasn't ever been a good deck to play, nor will it likely ever be a good deck to play. Just remember "Burn to the dome is faster than mill to the bottom."

This depends on the card pool.

Glimpse The Unthinkable as compared to a burn spell would be a 2 mana sorcery that does 3 and 1/3 damage to target player, however, what you also fail to think about is how many threats it removes.

I think mill is better in limited than anyone gives it credit for.

Does anyone think mill could be a possible strategy in booster draft?

in this build since you are running hedron crabs, i would have less islands and more fetch lands, maybe terramorphic expanse or evolving wilds. also, instead of rampant growth, try testing with harrow. 2 land at oncewith 1-2 hedron crab is nothign to laugh at. plus if you have a fetchland to throw down same turn thats 12-24 milled cards just from crab(s) and a fetch land. theres also a creature, i cant remember what its called, but if you have one in your opening hand, it mills like 13 cards or something, maybe its 7, either 7 or 13. look it up. its pretty decent, at least for sb or a 1 of.

I think elixir of immortality sb pretty much ruins any mill strategy.

memoricide
surgical extraction
shitload of luck (well, what are the chances he draws 1/4 cards from a 60 cardpool against the chances you mill 4 specific cards using at least 3 cards per "activation" before he does?)
