Last spoiler, from the URG deck:

Riku of Two Reflections 2URG
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard - Mythic Rare
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, you may pay UR. If you do, copy that spell. You may choose new targets for the copy.
Whenever another nontoken creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay GU. If you do, put a token that's a copy of that creature onto the battlefield.
2/2

Now back to work!

How is Spell Pierce always better?

flusterstorm = sorcery or instant, pay 1 mana. storm is irrelevant in 99% of realistic scenarios.

spell pierce = sorcery, instant, planeswalkers, artifacts, enchantments, unless they pay 2.

You forgot that you're responding to a spell, so storm count is at least 1; it costs 2 at default.

Depending on your local metagame I'd agree that its usefulness varies, but in a heavy counterspell environment like mine this is just what you need to get past it.
