Thread to discuss anything related for the trial and master scheduled from June 6th to June 19th. Link to it here: http://www.magic-league.com/info/calendar.php

For the next 2 weeks we have:

5 Standard (1 is the master)
2 Extended
2 Legacy
2 SOM/MBS/NPH Sealed
1 Scars of Mirrodin Block Constructed
1 Modern
1 237 Extended

The master will be a Standard tournament, so prepare those caw-blades for it.

Noteworthy, we have our second Modern trial. The format is gaining popularity fast. I wouldn't be surprised if it would replace the Extended trials by next month.
We also have a 237 Extended. In case you want to know what that is, you can check the rules here: http://www.magic-league.com/guide/other_formats.php#237

On a personal note, I think it is time we have another Vintage trial. We have not had one in months, and everyone needs to dust off their lotuses and moxes every once in a while Razz

Cut the 237 Extended for a RFT?

237 Extended is going to be Hawks, Stoneforge, Equipment...

I've always loved 237 Extended, but with such a small card pool now......not to mention the top deck in Standard, making a big splash in Extended as well, is very close to 237 already. I forsee a lot of mirror matches.

What about Modern 2-3-7? (I still prefer 2-3-6 though...) Mr. Green

Legacy Master would be nice someday; I can't ever play in the Legacy trials because they are all on the same day of the week and during work hours - it'd be neat if that could be adjusted but I understand it depends on availability of TC too.

Highly unlikely. The logistic of doing so many tables at the same time would make it impossible at the moment. I could, however, can see it happen when the new website comes out, 'cause it would have the draft integrated on the website.

I couldn't agree with this more. I can't ever play in a master because of my schedule and Saturday just seems like a more viable day anyways.

When the Master is a sealed tournament, the top8 is a draft. This has happened before, and it will again when we have a sealed Master again.
