I'm not sure about sulfuric vortex specifically, but there are much better choices.

I use Jinxed Chocker over Vortex cuz it beats cop:red and I haven't seen cephalidlife in a while so its not worth it.

No Pillage or Shrapnel Blasts? Cut E-bolts for either of those and you might want to add flamebreaks over pyroclasms.

Pillage for what? Shrapnel Blast won't be effective with just Chrome Mox md.

Things like... Crucible of Worlds, Sphere of Law, Cranial Plating, Chrome Mox, Umezawa's Jitte, just about anything in an Affinity deck, and other random equipment.

Sphere of Law is an enchantment. E-Bolt is more affective vs. affinity then Pillage. Overload is more effective then Pillage, even shatter.

There's really no need for Skizzik. I don't know how to explain it, but he just doesn't work. It seems like he should, but he just doesn't. I mean, wouldn't you rather spend your 4 mana on Blistering Firecat?

Pillage is really nice in extended, as it's a very versitile card. T2 DRW runs Molten Rain, so what should be the difference in Ext?
