Hey ppl, trying a new deck with the addition of MBS.
Dont think it can be competitive but can you help me try to improve?

BoneDredge deck:

Lands: (23)
3x Inkmoth nexus
4x Marsh Flats
4x Seachrome coast
4x Darckslick shores
4x plains
4x swamp

--might need help with the mana base, its a tri deck after all

Spells:(11)
3x Grim discovery
4x Tome scour
3x Bonehoard
1x Basilisk Collar

--dredge, recursion and the namesake Bonehoard

Creatures: (26, yes big number)
4x Squadron Hawk
4x Hedron crab
4x Stoneforge Mystic
4x Reassembling Skeleton
4x Bloodghast
4x Salvage scout
2x Cadaver Imp

-- recursion creatures, dredge crab, and tutor

The deck idea is to mill yourself to put as many creatures as you can on the graveyard, get bonehoard by mystic or draw, put it on the board and start bashing face...the collar is there to help you live from the beating until u get on track.

For the record, having a colossus, tutorable, that costs 2, bashing face is SO rewarding.

So guys, tell me what do u think?

Are you sure you want to be milling yourself? You may throw your Hawks into the bin and not be able to search for them.

The deck is a lot better then it looks. However, the mana base needs work and I feel it needs more umph vs Valakut/Eldrazi green in particular as it has no answers at the moment. I think it needs Tectonic Edge in the maindeck or at the very least in the sideboard. All so Memoricide would be a good card for the sideboard, at the very least you have a chance of getting someones Prime titans or their Memoricides to save your Bonehoards.

Either way, I am not sure with the cards available that this deck can be competitive.

If you want bonehoard to kill in one shot, creeping tar pit is a pretty solid option. Though I just realized what the nexus's are for.

For the guw version, try a single sun titan.

My current version.

// Lands
2 [ZEN] Plains (1a)
3 [ZEN] Forest (4a)
2 [SOM] Razorverge Thicket
4 [ZEN] Misty Rainforest
3 [WWK] Creeping Tar Pit
2 [ROE] Island (3)
1 [SOM] Seachrome Coast
2 [SOM] Darkslick Shores
1 [ZEN] Marsh Flats
1 [ZEN] Verdant Catacombs
1 [ZEN] Swamp (1a)

// Creatures
2 [M11] Primeval Titan
4 [SOM] Salvage Scout
4 [M11] Birds of Paradise
2 [M11] Sun Titan
4 [ZEN] Hedron Crab
4 [ZEN] Lotus Cobra
4 [ROE] Thought Gorger
4 [ROE] Vengevine
3 [M11] Fauna Shaman
2 [SOM] Wurmcoil Engine

// Spells
3 [MBS] Bonehoard
2 [MBS] Lead the Stampede

// Sideboard
SB: 1 [M11] Sun Titan
SB: 2 [SOM] Wall of Tanglecord
SB: 3 [MBS] Thrun, the Last Troll
SB: 2 [MBS] Sword of Feast and Famine
SB: 4 [WWK] Kor Firewalker

33 creatures seems to be as high as I can get it and still run. Possibilities are to shave a bonehoard and 2 6 drops for 3 stoneforge mystics. that puts you at 34 creatures and a lower curve, yet higher demands on early color development.

A different look, this time with a stoneforge mystic package. I also removed the Thought Gorgers and vengevines for inferno titan, cunning sparkmage, and a lone spikeshot elder. The next step is to remove the hedron crabs in order to improve the mana base, yet that will theme of milling yourself for large bonehoard shenannigans. If blue is going to stay, then possibly sea gate oracles can get in there to help smooth out draws. Pyroclasm is now a possibility for the sb to help with aggro decks.
