I noticed that the limited forums were very limited on information regarding limited so I have decided to start a workshop.
In this thread, I will post a sealed pool and we as a community will try and create the best build out of what we are given.

Others are welcome to start a card pool as well, and we as a community can play possible decks out of these card pools against each other.

The whole point of this is to broaden our knowledge and proficiency of the limited environment.

myr galvanizer is so much better than auriok replica in this deck; replica is pretty horrible.

also i dont understand why you're playing cards like censure (terrible in your deck), neurok replica, ratchet bomb over cards like lumingrid drake and stoic rebuttal. i'd cut ratchet bomb, censure and auriok replica for 2 lumingrid drake and a myr galzanizer. pretty obvious cuts, pretty sure ratchet bomb is bad.

i concur with maps on most of it, but nuerok replica is never bad ... i really like that card. but censer is bad ... also galivinizer is much better than the aurok

3 perilous myr is pretty redic


turn to slagg and blast are worth mentioning.... but really not a lot of options with this card pool

For the 24th card, it was stoic rebuttal vs metalcraft drake vs land. Normally I would never run 17 lands in a deck with 3 myrs but you have smith and school to filter them away, so maybe 17 lands is correct. Maybe galvanizer should be in too because he is good with 3 periloums myr.

I see you run 1 white replica and 1 blue replica but the blue one is so much better, especially in this kind of deck where you want to race through the air. Myr propagater is bad, it's mana intensive, slow and you get 1/1 creatures... Ratchet bomb is slow too. It's really dificult to 2 for 1 with it.

If I need more removal, I can swap out 2x Sky-Eel School, Darkslick Drake, and my islands, for mountains, 2x Shatter, and an Arc Trail. If for some reason I needed big creatures, I would take out the blue cards for the 3 worms, and also probably switch out Grindclock for Untamed Might. Lots of options here.

Anywho, about Grindclock. Grindclock is in this deck because the proliferate mechanic + the card advantage. Grindclock works a lot like reusable removal in limited, but will honestly probably draw a Shatter or Revoke Existence before it becomes too much of a threat. Still, a neat way to randomly gain an advantage at a decent cost that also helps out the hand-full of metal craft cards I have.

I wish I would have opened a few more myrs, or perhaps a horizon spellbomb, because I have a decent number of fatties, just no reliable way to get to them. I'm running to 2 Darksteel Sentinels because they are just good. They're good against about half the removal in the field and they can flash in as a neat combat trick.

if you have arc trail AND an iron myr... always splash. ALWAYS.

I don't see how 1 iron myr constitutes that much mana fixing. I would rather have the option to sb into WR instead of risk getting mana screwed.

Here's my deck. Not very good pool and I decided to make very aggressive deck. Fairly good amount of removal and fast creatures might win a few games but generally I found it hard to make anything out of this pool. Furnace Celebration should be good if drawn.

Here's my 5 cents:

+Arc Trail
+Shatter (I just feel that you should have all the removal possible to make control deck work. Arc Trail and Shatter are good removal and quite easily splashable with Iron Myr)
+Vedalken Certarch (Good in control decks with lot of artifacts. Might be bad against some decks, but I would start with one)
+2 Mountain

-Rusted Relic (this is a defensive deck and while there are lots of articats they tend to cost too much to make this reliable blocker against fast decks)
-Grindclock (while this combos with proliferate, it's overall just too slow and bad overall card. This deck has enough win conditions without this)
-Sylvok Lifestaff (I took this off Vedalken Certatch. It's kind of awkward that in my build there are 3 less artifacts and one Certarch more, but the deck still has 15 artifacts which should be just enough. Sylvok Lifestaff is ok card though and I could see myself playing it)
-1 Plains
-1 Island
