To make a long story short, I wanted to make and attempt something different. So I made this deck which I call Bunker for the fact that it's heavily defense style strategy that uses Defender as a means to not just protect, but to also defeat your opponent.

Couple things before I show:

1- I understand there will be some of you that will have the urge to troll, I implore you, if you do, at least put some sort of logic in your troll. Just saying "This is bad delete deck" is not an answer. o.O

2- Any suggestions will be great. I'm not limiting my concept deck here to failed thoughts of "my way is better". I listen to everyones ideas and will access them and test them out.

3- I would like to also figure out a good Sideboard. I'm considering Ratchet Bomb as well as some other things, but I mean, if you got any ideas on a Sideboard that compliments this deck, please also let me know.

And that's about it. Anyway here you go.

// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)

// Lands
6 [ZEN] Mountain (3)
6 [ZEN] Plains (2a)
4 [SOM] Copperline Gorge
4 [M11] Sunpetal Grove

// Creatures
4 [WWK] Perimeter Captain
4 [ROE] Rage Nimbus
4 [ROE] Stalwart Shield-Bearers
4 [ROE] Vent Sentinel
4 [ROE] Wall of Omens

// Spells
4 [ROE] Guard Duty
2 [M11] Garruk Wildspeaker
2 [SOM] Elspeth Tirel
3 [M11] Pacifism
4 [ROE] Warmonger's Chariot
3 [WWK] Explore
2 [M11] Cultivate

Thanks in advance to all helpful critiques.

all planeswalker will be good in this deck since your opponent will have trouble pushing through any damage at them...try out gideon and chandra if you haven't already done so...also this looks like the perfect deck to maindeck luminarch ascensions

I like that... Luminarch idea. I can put 2 in the main and 2 in the sideboard. And the planeswalker i like too. I think I can add Chandra and Jura and remove 1 elsp and 1 Garruk.

i like it. Might not be the right time to bust this out considering the metagame, but its not bad at all.

I think luminarch ascension as mentioned would be awesome tech for this deck.

I don't see a reason to not run Overgrown Battlement + emrakul or something like that. You'll JUST win sometimes against a lot of stuff with those cards in your deck. Could be something like Terastadon instead, etc.

Clean up your non-wall spells. Pacifism probably isn't needed at all.

You can cut the chariot if you go with the overgrown + eldrazi plan. Just stall till you get it.

Momentous Fall would be sweet in this deck. They finally hit a threat worth attacking with and you block and sac and draw inf. cards.

I don't really like this deck. My main reason is that your only real creautre threat is vent sentinal, and he is easily disposed of with creature removal. Usually that isn't such a bad thing, however that will most likely be the only creature your opponent will be spending his creature removal on, your other two win conditions are both planeswalkers and I'm not sure how well those particular ones will do at winning you the game I could easily see a player simply say "...okay I guess I'll just sit back on ratchet bomb for a while" or I'll just smack him around with a grave titan or equaly "I play ulamog/emrakul, i win" for this deck you NEED 4 luminarch main, and you need to change your planes walkers. I would go with gideon and maybe chandra as suggested earlier. Good luck with the deck, but I don't have high hopes for it seeing how powerful control is right now.

I was doing some testing with it, and I went up against my first control deck. I see saw what you was talkin about. So I made changes with it. Then I went against same control deck and actually won... So this is the changed and revised version... Suggestions as usually are a great benefit:

6 [ZEN] Plains (2a)
4 [SOM] Copperline Gorge
4 [M11] Sunpetal Grove

// Creatures
4 [WWK] Perimeter Captain
4 [ROE] Rage Nimbus
3 [ROE] Stalwart Shield-Bearers
4 [ROE] Vent Sentinel
4 [ROE] Wall of Omens
2 [ROE] Overgrown Battlement

// Spells
1 [SOM] Elspeth Tirel
4 [ROE] Warmonger's Chariot
2 [WWK] Explore
2 [M11] Cultivate
4 [ZEN] Luminarch Ascension
1 [M11] Chandra Nalaar
1 [ROE] Gideon Jura
4 [M11] Condemn

// Sideboard
SB: 1 [SOM] Elspeth Tirel

Sure Ill give it a try... I think that win against that control was just blind luck.. got into it with another on and it hurt meh. Is there really any cards I can SB that would help against Control? mostly Blue....

4 Walls of Tanglecord for sideboard, if not maindeck.
Take out condemn and replace with journey to nowhere.
-4 Plains +4 Arid Mesa

well you're stuck between a rock and a hard place there...u need journeys because condemn is awful against titans...but you need at least some condemns or else you'll have 0 answers to creeping tar pit...another solution would be to cut green which would allow you to run tec edges

I've been messing around with this:

4 Perimeter Captain
4 Wall of Omens
4 Overgrown Battlement
4 Rage Nimbus
4 Vent Sentinel

4 Luminarch Ascension

4 Summoning Trap
4 Gaea's Revenge
1 Emrakul
1 Ulamog
1 Kozilek

And so far, it's decent. Rage Nimbus has been terrible so far (I've never activated it yet) and Perimeter Captain hasn't been great either. I'm thinking of moving some to the sideboard. Vent Sentinel, too, has been underwhelming.

The problem is, I depend so heavily upon Overgrown Battlement. If I don't have one on the board, I almost automatically lose.
